Actually yes it is.
It turns the nicotine into its freebase form to facilitate better absorption.
That's why I don't add lemon juice or vinegar to my juices.

So I got my rba today. I guess it had some machine oil left on it because after a few test fires it caught on fire. I cleaned it with soap and have it soaking in PGA right now. Hopefully that will get rid of whatever the hell caught on fire.
Sidenote-the amount of wick they put on it is ridiculous. It is barely enough to hold 3 drops.
This thing is crazy small, I am nervous about rebuilding a wick. I need one of those dentist magnifying glasses.

I got a rainbow v3 aka the wyvern from discountvapers.
I just built my first coil. It came out pretty good. Its 2.7 ohms. It looks pretty good too.
I used fiberglass wick and 32 awg kanthal wire.
It has a crazy amount of throat hit, too much for my liking. It has very little vapor but very good flavor. My damn chest hurts now.
Next time I will be buying a bigger one.

It is slightly off to one side. It isn't in front of the post. But its not directly facing the wick either.

I believe for better vapor the hole needs to line up with the wick
