Since I didn't teach yesterday, my brain is so active, so pardon me if I spam this thread. I have a question. Where did everyone go? Like I said above, I started from the beginning and read a few pages, and I noticed there were people who posted who have disappeared. Oh well. I must say that I do like the ones who have continued.

oh in case anyone is wondering. That image in my signature lies. For the past 7 yrs while living here in GA I paid $3.25 for a pack of smokes. Prior to that I was in Boston & I think a pack was already $5. I entered 3.25 in the signature tool. Either way it still lies. There's no way I have saved $1354. I'm sure I've spent double that! That number is irrelevant to me. The avoided # is what puts a smile on my face

RP, I think when the mod moved this to the lounge, we lost those people.

Claire, I know what you mean. I took my banner off. We were able to buy cigs cheaper than some places at the Nevada casinos or the rez. I quit in 2010 when Obama said he was adding $1 a pack tax and I was mad enough to quit. Surprise when I went to buy the wife's and they only went up about $3 a carton. We started Doral when the name brands went over $10 and the white generic packaging was new at the grocery stores, in the 70s I think. We were getting those for around $20 when I moved here in 1999. When they got over $30 I switched to Pall Mall and they went up and switched to Pyramid. Last purchase was around $144 for 4 cartons. I would think that they are close to or over $40 with tax now. In AZ they are around $5.50 for cheap brands single pack, discount for 2.
As I continued to spend on vape, the counter wasn't saving fast enough, lol, so I could cheat and rise the per pack price, or look at the big picture of a year.
I always smoked more than the wife and worked around asbestos, chemicals and exhaust fumes but my blood level O2 is up around 97-98 and she is low 90s with oxygen on. My day will come I'm sure. God wants me around for some reason.

RP we had a cat bed that became our mama tot bed, that became baby tot enclosure, until they crawled out. I had a large soft sided vinyl suitcase with a broken zipper so I cut the lid off and put in padding. Been their bed ever since.
The dog treats I made got moldy and we tossed em. I should have let them air dry or froze them.

Too me it tastes like banana pudding, others it tastes like banana Laffy Taffy. It's not a real banana flavor. Total artificial flavoring. I mix it at 15% for others, 20% for me. (My taste buds still haven't come back) I've been meaning to get some graham cracker (closest thing to Nilla Wafers cookies) and see if it tastes anything like homemade nilla pudding. You put bananas, banana pudding, and Nilla Wafers together.

How about the days when they were .45 - 55 cents per pack in the machines!
I just dated myself.

In fact my mother should be brought up for child abuse. hahahaha! I used to walk up to the corner family bar to buy a pack of cigs out of machine & before I left I carried a brown bag home to mom. while I was there I shot pool, ate a slim jim & drank a coke at the bar. circa 1974 many times the local cop who walked the beat would walk home with me!

71 for me. 50 cents in the machine and 2.50 a carton. Only regular and filter then. 100s came later. Started with a GF that smoked Newports and bummed them from her, then bought my own. Met my wife shortly after and she smoked Salem. Switched at some point and then we went 100. Everybody smoked and smoked everywhere but church. Grocery store, movies, hospital. My wife worked afternoons at the hospital and they couldn't smoke on the floor. I would go visit her on break in the cafeteria and watched those ladies suck down 3-4 in 15 minutes. For lunch they would be smokin and eatin and yakin.

WL also carries a ripe banana flavor - have you tried that one? I'm thinking it may be more real-fruit tasting than the banana pudding one, but I have no idea.

I've had real banana flavors and don't like it. I love the banana cream, banana nut flavors.

Peach & Mango I think are good on their own too.
Raspberry sweet I use a few times to make other fruits pop at 2-3%

the strawberry I use is strawberry Ripe. I just got a 16oz bottle

The best thing I have done was to first figure out how the flavors work by themselves. have made it easier when I want to mix a few together.

I have food allergies and searched quinoa. Turns out that is probably my stomach issue. You have to wash it to get a toxin off of it. I probably didn't do a good enough job and got a reaction. Once the body perceives the toxin as being associated with the quinoa, it will react again, possibly more severely, even if it is washed enough. Oh well didn't like it that much anyway.

Doctor said he looked at wife's x-ray and she has severe COPD. More rx's, more $$
We both had thoughts today about the big C word but he didn't mention any. Antibiotic for green snot, steroid, cough stuff. She tends to get roid ragey on me so glad it is only for a week. O2 only if she needs it.
