Not your fault. You likely haven't pushed the mod to the breaking point as you clearly say not to stack batteries. I only use LiFePO4 batteries as they're cooler and safer than Li-Ions and only hit 3.0v instead of 3.7 but I obviously push hardware to it's limits as I've nuked an indulgence, 3 roughstacks of the spring style, several eGos, and now a Bolt. Batteries only last me a few hours and I nuke dual coil tank cartos within a couple weeks. 3.7 just doesn't do it for me as I hate taking 8 second pulls on my PV. It's still a competent silver bullet clone but I doubt a silver bullet has razor thin wiring.
Well, I do want people to be responsible, but I know people will stack them. I just wish the Bolt, or even the Indulgence V3 (from Riva), would have a little protection. LiFePO4 batteries are better, but there are still dangers, and if you are going to do that, use AW's. I have Lifepos from MadVapes (
Haoba rcr123a 3 volt Battery Kit), and I won't stack those in an unprotected mod. I just haven't seen the testing on them anywhere (not that I searched too hard though). Then again, I do have an Infinity, and Infinity Pro. The Infinity Pro goes to 15Watts, and it is usually enough for me, but there are times I want to push it higher. So, I understand. It's why I gave more pointers when I did my Indulgence V3 review. Yet, even in both videos, I put stacked 3.7V batteries in the mod... mostly because I wanted to give the pointers, show that it does work, and hopefully be a little entertaining in the meantime. I still don't recommend it, but I do understand.
