Has anyone actually talked about the draw comparison? I have a provari and the buzz I like the provari for taste but the buzz has a less airy draw. Has anyone said the difference in draw? I have read a lot of threads talking about price but really isn't the draw and taste of hit important? Also if there is a thread can someone point me to in. Also compare the two

Draw is generally not a function of the mod or e-cig battery and connector itself, rather the way the atomizer, cartridge or cartomiser was designed. Are you using two different types of atomisers on each mod? If so, that could account for your draw problem. I have also seen the draw vary on atomisers of the same type from the same pack. It's just a design flaw. I find cartos have a different draw than dual coils. Assuming the mods are supplying good voltage to the atomizers and the coils are working properly the mods themselves should not effect the draw.

John. Having used both, I stated my opinion. That is what a review is. I didn't knock on your beloved lavatube. I like it. I even said so. In my opinion, the Provari is a more solid unit. I prefer to take it with me to work for that very reason. I have abused it and abused it, and it still looks and functions as new. As with anything electronic, it can break, malfunction, short out, etc. I haven't had any problems out of either of mine. As far as tools go... Can you break a high quality tool... Sure you can, but the likelyhood is far lower than cheap china knockoffs from places like HF. I know, because I've owned and used both. It's readying apparent from your posts that you think Jesus would vape a lavatube, and that a Provari is a waste of money. Great. Don't buy one. Vape your LT and be happy with it, as will I.

I understand it was your review/opinion but I think your wording was a little strong and misplaced that's all, that it could give a false impression. Hey, no biggie, people think the same about things I say. I sleep well at night. I mean no disrespect to you, just stating my opinion of your review.

One question John.

Do You Own a Provari?

No.. but Nobody knows that.. no one has had one last for a lifetime (if your asking because of the above post) . I do not own a Lava Tube either, nor have I ever owned either unit.

So you don't Own or have Ever Owned Either a Provari OR a Lavatube?

Wow.

So just so I’m clear on this…

Your writing Small Essays on the Pros and Cons, mainly the Cons, and you Don’t Even Own a Provari.

Correct?

Yeah, That's Right, You Got It ! I make no bones about it. I'm judging on what I read, on what's advertised. That is after all what the company wants you to do to make a decision to buy or not. I understand you have a perceived notion that the Provari will always be solid and preform like a rock but that has yet to be proven. For many Provari owners that is not the case. I simply think fans make too much of it. Of course they are entitled to their opinion being a fan.

Maybe it is just me.

But if I choose to read Multiple 1,500 word posts about a PV, I tend to like when the member has Actualy used the PV. And Not just someone who is "Reposting" what someone else has said with their own Spin on it.

Now where is that "Ignore List" in my Settings?

LOL ya know... no one forced you to read any of my posts in my threads.. and here you wanna put me on Ignore for something you yourself have done.. if that make you feel better.. go for it but I think you do yourself a disservice. Who knows, if you'd get to know me you might understand or even like me, but I won't force your hand...

Seriously... the guy bashing the ProVari doesn't even own one?

Hey, John Phoenix... here's a question for you.

I just visited the Mods Discussion.

On Page 1, I saw:
ProVari vs Reo
Can't decide! Buzz Pro or Pro Vari
A ProVari Owner gets a LavaTube
Why wouldn't you buy a ProVari

And that's only on PAGE ONE!

Now... the ProVari's been out for a friggin YEAR!

Why aren't there all of these discussions and comparisons of the Buzz Pro? The Darwin? All the other mods?

Why is it that when a new variable voltage mod comes out, it's invariatably compared to the ProVari?

Do you REALLY think all of these ProVari owners are just "weak minded people buying into the advertising tactics" or "Provari fanboys"....?

Hey, I get it. Everyone can't afford a ProVari, and the LavaTube is a decent alternative. I'm glad it's another option.

Just stop trying to sell everyone that your VW can go everywhere, and do everything that your neighbors Porsche can go and do, and for a LOT LESS, so he's an idiot for paying so much!

You seem like a Nice Enough person. And yes, maybe if I got to know you I might like you.

But in a thread about whether a Lavatube is Better or Cheaper I tend to put more weight on a post from someone who has some first hand experience with one or the other.

Sorry uba.

I know how it goes. And if you've been around here long enough, you've seen this before when new mods get released. IT always happens. You guys carry on.

But, be aware that ALL Provari\Lavatube threads seem to attract mod attention. I was just giving a friendly reminder to keep it clean, and above the belt...

Yes, that does pretty much sum up my opinion but not quite - I think you took some liberties with what I actually said. Not trying to sell anyone anything, just stating my opinion. I think I brought up some points that have not been considered before. I never said anyone was an idiot for buying one.

If you guys are fans of the Provari that's fine. You don't have to get all bent out of shape with me because I have things against it but those are your opinions I guess. I'll still sleep well at night.

I never claimed one time I ever owned one or the other mod and if you followed the thread from page one, you will see I indicated that early on.

Hey, why don't I just read what everyone ELSE thinks of you? Then I'll pass THAT along!
I'd love to know. Why don't you pass that to me in a PM. I know I'm strongly opinionated. That's what makes me, ME. I never say anything to disrespect anyone personally but if people take issue with my opinions that's not my problem, it's theirs. Will I apologize for people getting bent out of shape at my opinions? No. As long as I follow the forum rules, I have nothing to apologize for. If people hate me for who I am I'd say they have bigger problems than worrying about a guy on a forum.

I have been around awhile. And there is one thing that I have noticed.

Whenever some New VVPV comes out it is Compared against the Provari. And the views are Always Very Polarized Either For or Against.

Thanks for letting this thread evolve even if some of the Replies have been somewhat less than Civil.

John, I respect your opinion as well as all others opinions. I too own neither VV mod, but have researched both. I to have an opinion, which I am entitled to have. My opinion is simple, we all should Vape what we want to vape, and defend it if we like, but should not chastize others for their opinion. Respecting others is what makes ECf a great place to hang out. My sig tells what I vape and enjoy.

Just my two-pennies....
