When I use the E1 clearomizer 2.5 ohms, vision ego clearomizer 2.2 ohms, and the Kange bottom coil clearomizer with the Lava tube v1.5 I have to set the Voltage to 3.3 and I get a little burnt tast not much. When I use the Ego Twist I can go up to 4.8 volts without any burnt tast but my sweet spot is 4.2. Is this because of the amps ? Lava Tube V1.5 3.2 amps. Twist 2.5 amps. I was thinking it might be because I use 50/50 juice but why would it work on the twist.

The short answer is, if you are getting a burnt flavor, the coil does not have enough juice, the voltage is too high for the coil resistance. When you start getting a burnt flavor regularly, there is a chance that the wick material has also burnt and will now always give a bad flavor.

If, as you said, you have a clearo that tastes good on the Twist at 4.8V and burnt on the LT at 3.3V, I'd begin to wonder if the LT is defective.

when I check the ohms with the LT it changes sometimes it at 2.5 or 2.9 and so on. I put an ce3 bottom clearomizer 2.4 - 2.6 on the LT at 5 volts and no burnt taste with 50/50 juice. I wounder if the 50/50 is too thick for the top coil clearomizers. I still don't understand why they work with the twist.

thats why i think it the adapter because without i can vape the ce3 at 4.2v with no burnt taste as long as i lay the LT on it's side so the juice stays by the atty. but with the adapter I get a burnt taste and the ohms run all over the place.

For the life of me, I can't think of how the adapter could cause this!

I can't either but thats what it looking like. As for the burnt taste the vender told me to lay the LT of it side so the juice stays on the atty and that seems to be working so far. I put the stardust on the LT with the adapter and the ohms reading was 0.1 can't try it with another adapter because I only have one. the stardust works just fine on the twist. so process of elimination say it has to be the adapter. some how it has to be shorting the stardust out ?
