I have been using ecigs for close to a year now. A while ago my Vmod xl fell down and exploded into a million pieces. I decided i couldn't afford a provari, and the Lavatube 2.0 looked like a great choice..... WRONG. Do not get this mod. I personally wouldn't recommend buying anything from Volcano. My Lavatube arrived and right away i could see a problem, the led wasnt lit all the way. I figured i could deal with this. After about a week the fire button started needing to be pressed about 9 times to power the device on or of (should only take 5). The other day as i went to take a draw, i noticed it was not firing. When i let go of the button the led flashed blank three times and the device shut off. Mind you a am and always have been using aw imr high drain 18650s as recommended. It now does this and only this. The device wont fire, and the ohm meter is definitely not working because it is telling me a brand new 3 ohm carto is 1.3 ohms (multiple cartos tested). All of this would really not matter right? Because it comes with a year warranty and i can get a new one? Well yeah that would be great but sence this has happened i have sent multiple emails and left many voicemails at volcano, with no response. So no im pretty much SOL seeing as i dont start my new job untill this saturday. Im going to try my best not to touch an analog but i have to be honest this gastation ecig i got isnt working well. In short i just wanted to warn other new members because the lavatube seemed like a great choice but you are paying toooooo much money for such a poorly built device with really crappy parts used coming out of china. Do yourself a favor and get something made in the U.S dont waste your money and end up ecigless like me:(

Their CS usually responds within 24 hours. I currently use a Volcano Inferno and I have no issues with their CS department. If you have an account on their website click my account log in then click help desk in the list.

Also I do not think they work the weekends and holidays so if you submitted your emails or calls between friday evening and monday they should contact you today. Keep an eye on your email.

If the product is under warranty they will email you a shipping label and have you send it back for repair/replacement.

Volcano's CS department is one of the best I have dealt with. They also have a forum on their site which you can post to for issues with your device.

I have the same issue with volcano e-cigs. I returned my LT after 3 months of use for replacement and haven't heard from them since. Forget about reaching them via phone but I did get lucky ONCE and got an email stating that they are out of stock on the LT and that I should send them $10 more so they can mail me the chrome LT. :?:

perhaps I should open a ticket (whatever that is).

Yeah, you should open up a ticket and get that resolved. Assuming you have an account on their webstore, just go to "My Accoount", then click on "Help Desk" on the right hand side of the page. Then explain the situation and you should get the situation straightened out pretty quickly. Your more likely to get better service with the ticket system than by phone or email.

Sorry you're having issues. Being here in Hawaii (Volcano eCigs home turf) it's very easy to just walk into their retail locations and get what I need. I've always been treated well, to the point that I didn't like the way the battery tube screwed on to the upper part of the mod... They swapped out my device, citing that if the lavatube logo is not centered with the fire button, it's defective machine work! Can't argue with that logic...

BTW guys, Volcano eCigs products are NOT Made in the USA. Some of their products (Lavatubes) were designed here, but all the manufacturing is done in China. And most of their non-Lavatube products are standard eGo batteries, cartos and tanks (Tube Tanks) are all SmokTech. Just a lot of rebranded merch. The Lavatube is their only original design, and it only seems to stay that way for a short while (LRider made copies of the first one, Chrome Lavatube was also copied and sold as Lambo, haven't seen any copies of the Volcano Lavatube V2... Yet... These copies, interesting enough, are even marketed as "Lavatube" even with that name being coined by Volcano)

Blah Blah... Point here is, don't be too put off by Volcano... If anything, they are busy as crap, and really are sold out... If they don't take care of you, I would be floored. Having met many of their employees, I can tell you they are great people!
