So I think I NEED one of these laser mods, but I'm not seeing anything about the differences between the LPV and the LPV2. Are they the same size but different casings? Performance? Any other differences?

The 1 is a hair wider and the 2 is about 1/4" longer. Other than that, the 1 is silver, has some dot indents around it, and has a hole for a keyring on the end cap. The 2 is painted.
Cool, thanks for the info. I wouldn't use the keychain anyway - and the painted one is actually cheaper! No performance differences? (I wouldn't expect there to be, since they use the same battery, but you never know!)

No noticeable performance difference in my opinion. Both of mine work very well.

I get aroundish 7 or 8 hours i would say and i would say im a moderate/most heavy vaper. greatt product though.
I get about 2 hours on a 10440 battery.
I know I've seen other post they get a lot more though.
