There are those who fear the small amounts of lead contained in brass, and those who do not ... I am one who does not. Being that the heat generated by our atties is not high enough to bring the brass to a boiling point, I see no reason to be concerned.
Secondly, chromed brass posts and screws have been in use in ecigarette products for quite some time, and I still have yet to hear of a single case of anyone being lead poisoned by their vape gear. Lead poisoning is serious enough that if any such thing had happened, I am sure we would have heard about it.
