I thought I'd fixed the problem, but apparently I have not!

Both minis (the og and the 2.5) have been leaking like sieves. This morning, both were taken apart, checked, washed, put back together with O rings in the dripwell and up where the RM2 meets the dripwell. I checked the tubing was snug up against the connector.

The 2.5 seemed to be good to go, so I took her out with me in the car. 30m mins later I pulled her out of my purse and she was a dripping mess. I cleaned her up, came back home, and after a while I see that she's leaking out from the base of the RM2, in spite of the fact there's a thick O ring there. Now, it is hot here today, and I don't have the a/c on yet - so it might be 80 in the house. I'm using 50/50, and I don't have a reducer tube in her because it's in the og mini - could that be the problem?

I dread the summer here - last night my cartotanks for the first time decided to flood for no reason, my other tanks got all leaky. And it's not even that hot yet!

I need to order a bunch of reducers - I only have one, and it's on the other mini...

I checked, and it wasn't leaking out of the airhole - it was leaking out from around the O ring at the top of the drip well!
I have a feeling it is coming out the air hole . The best way to tell is to slip a o ring around the atomizer just under the air hole . If you notice juice building up on the o ring you no its coming from the air intake

OK - this thread got me thinking. Most of my juices are 50/50 or 60pg/40vg and I live in Houston where it's hot most of the damn year. We've got 2 seasons; Hot and Hell (lol) with a couple days of cool to chilly tossed in to keep us sane.

Based on this, should I assume to have the reducer tube for all my juices I use on my (soon to be purchased) Reo?

The reducer tubes come with new purchase REO's. You will have to look pretty close to find them in the bag. They are very small!

You might find you need them in the heat. Also adjusting the amount of juice you feed into the RM2 is important. You will want to take off the drip tip and watch as you squonk. Then vape till the coil is almost dry before setting your REO down. That will help with any flooding.

The tightness of the bottle cap plays an important part in this also. Too tight and the pressure builds. You will learn! It is trial and error at first. But usually does not take long to have it down.

I live in the Houston area too, I vape 50/50 and sometimes 60/40 as well .. I've never had to use the reducer tube on any of my Reo's.

I noticed today mine was leaking in the drip well, enough to kind of frustrate me but not enough to really worry. Mid-day I actually unscrewed the RM2 (it was on pretty damn tight) checked the o-ring and tightened it pretty tight, but not as tight as it was. Hasn't leaked from the time I did that. I was thinking if you have it on too tight the o-ring may be compressed to the point it may let some juice through a ripple or something that forms in it. Dunno what would cause it but I honestly think it was because it was on too tight.
