I got a green swirl acrylic knicklehead from madvapes this week, because I thought it looked like a super-cool idea. I love the swiveling design, and it is very ergonomic. If executed well, this would be a fantastic tip for my cartos and attys.

However, this one seems to be not sealing somewhere. When I draw on it, I get a lot of air and not much vapor. When I put a standard Ming style drip tip on the same carto, it vapes like a champ so it's NOT the carto. Same thing with my atties. (all are 901's BTW).

The o-ring seems to snap solidly into the end of the cartos and attys, so I don't think that is the issue. I'd pretty sure it's the swivel ball that is leaking. I think it's just not sealing up, and allowing air to leak in when I draw.

So is this just a cheap or faulty knucklehead,or do I need to lubricate the ball with something (VG, maybe?) so that it seals up better?

If anyone has any ideas, or has run into this themselves, please let me know if you've got a solution. I LOVE the IDEA of the knucklehead--it is comfortable to use, looks REALLY spiffy and is very unique. But the leaky, airy draw is ruining it for me...

Actually, I put that "leaky" knucklehead on my Phoenix RBA and my Vivi Nova this evening, and it vapes like a champ. Apparently the leak wasn't in the swivel part after all, but around the o-ring when I put it in the SmokTech 901 (2.5ohm) attys I have. They must just be a loose fit for the o-ring on the Knucklehead.

So as long as I use it on my tanks and RBAs, it works fine. I just can't use it with the drip attys I currently have...
