I just replaced the coil 2 days ago and filled it with juice. Has had the same coil/juice in it since. Not a big, leaky mess but a slow, steady leak. I just cleaned it and my battery, the leak is back and now I'm getting little to no vapor production.

I've never had a leaky tank so I'm a little unsure as to what could have caused this. I haven't tinkered with the coil at all, it's just as it came in the box.

Thanks in advance for any help!

From the bottom of the tank. I first noticed a gurgling, unscrewed the tank and noticed a bit of juice on the battery (the part that connects to the tank). Tried blowing air through the Pro tank onto a paper towel. Screwed it back on and it seemed fine for a few puffs. Have done this about 3 times now and it still keeps leaking from the bottom of the tank. Last try it produced little to no vapor. I sat it on a paper towel on my desk and just checked it. Nothing coming out the bottom, tried blowing through it onto a paper towel and nothing. So I'm not sure what's going on.

If it's gurgling and leaking from the bottom there could be a couple reasons. If your voltage is too low it won't vaporize the liquid as it gets to the coil and will build up and leak into the bottom of the head and out of the tank assembly. If the wick is too thin then it will allow too much liquid to get into the coil and you can't vaporize it fast enough. If you draw too hard on it while vaping you can draw too much liquid in the coil area causing the same situation. Good luck!

Hmm, seems to be reason #1. I had this tank on my MVP but swapped it out for a much thicker liquid and threw this tank on my ego (not a vv). From what I understand about simple ego batteries is that as their charge drains, their power does too? Threw it back on my MVP and no leaking and lots of puff puff.

Thank you for your help and I'll let you know if the leak comes back (doubt it though, seems to be fine) :).

I vape 80% PG and was having a bunch of issues with leaking with my protank 2. I found out that my atty wasn't creating a proper seal or replacement heads were blocking the air flow. Did some research / experimentation and found a post on here about kanger airflow restrictions and trimmer some of the bottom grommet and has been working fine!

Silly question. Did you twist the new head into place? If not, that may be the reason for the leak. Don't just put them in without screwing them down. Only takes about 1 1/2 turns.

let us know.
:)

I did. The kind gentleman who introduced me to the ego/clearo setup showed me how to work the whole contraption so I checked this when it started leaking and seemed fine.

The leak actually started about an hour or so after I switched batteries. I had it on my MVP for around a day and a half with no problems.

You know, I have noticed the differences in the batteries also when using the same clearomizer set ups. The Innokin products seems to have more power than the ego type twists and spinners. Interesting. May be the technology is just getting better and better. LOL

All I can say is I hope my ego battery isn't dying as it's my backup battery. I do have a backup for my backup but 3 1/2 weeks into vaping and I'm broke already for the month lol. So much juice...so little time...

Is it a joye tech eGo? If so, it shouldn't be dying. When I used them, they lasted a long time.

Unfortunately no. I had yet to discover this forum when I bought this battery. It was actually the second ego I bought so I would have more than one and it's weird, I got them both from the same place but I noticed a slight difference in power between this and the first one I bought. The first one seemed to have more power and last longer than this one even when both were fully charged.

Sounds like you may need a new vendor. LOL. You should be ok until the end of the month. If not, pm me, I have a couple lying around(actually packed away) that I don't use anymore. Consider if a pif(pay if forward) Let me know.

Did you check the gaskets which may have came off when cleaning?
