Hi Guys!
When I bought my kr8, I naturally started with the desire to reuse, refill. I seem to be making errors, too wet, too dry. then too wet again. Has anyone else gone thru this? I am juicing up about 3 bunk cartos a day... really frustrating. Are V4L better cartos to work with than the standard ones I have?

here's what I do and I don't have many problems...I use one cartomizer per flavor I am vaping.........if I am starting with a blank cartomizer I put about ten drops in the condom and push the battery end to the bottom....I let it sit for a minute....I pull it out and put in ten more drops.....repeat.....I may be able to get another four or five drops in but i don't push it....

then I wipe the battery end dry with a kleenex.....

then I vape it for about twenty minutes.....

then I add another five or six drops.....

repeat until I go to bed....

i'm going thru the same thing- havn't got refilling nailed down yet. Best one I've done yet was last night on a used cart - Five drops under mouth tip, spin, then five more drops, spin again. It's seems to be working pretty good.

You can perfect your filling method by watching the videos lon has posted. Trust me it does work.

I watched those vids many times as I waited for my kit to come in the mail....hands on, a bit of self patience is in order I think. I did better today (less floods) than yesterday.:)

I started with a 510

I started out doing the CCFM thing, but now that we have a fair amount of soft-cap premiums to work with, I prefer just dripping right into the cart. I like being able to see how wet the filler is, it gives you a better idea how you're doing.

CCFM is great for quick top-ups though. The pattern I've fallen into is doing one BIG fill in the morning: popping all the caps, drip, spin, drip some more to get them nice and full, then later in the evening doing a CCFM to top up any sagging flavors. Works pretty well!

I've been using cartomizers for a month now, and still getting the method down, but one thing seems to be really helping me get a feel for it:

As I fill, say 5 drops dripped in after removing the cap, I take test drags. Just pull some air through the carto. the draw changes a bit when it's wet and the carto will actually feel just a bit cool on the lips (to me anyway) when it's getting full. If there's the slightest gurgle or liquid sound, stop! It's full. Do not add one more drop. Just don't. That "one more drop" was how I kept flooding when refilling and why I started test drags, to avoid that, but it's helping me get a feel for it.
