Thanks for the advice. I'm leaning towards the Kayfun Lite/Russian 91%. I am a bit leery of the clones.... Any experience hopefully good going that route??

I've got a Russian 91% and a KFL+ clone. I get great performance out of both. The clone sorta whistles when you take a draw, but I can't tell any difference in VP or TH. The Russian does look and feel like a better machined piece however.

I have a KFL+ and have had next to zero issues with it leaking. I barely keep the thing upright since I always take it on the go with me and unlike the genesis style RBA's, it is never an issue when it is assembled correctly. The only time it has leaked on me is when I accidentally cross threaded the plastic part of the tank and the chimney did not align with the o-ring at the top, definitely try to avoid doing this because I had to break off the plastic part in order to get it apart

my Svomesto KFL clone used to leak after I filled it, only because the vacuum seal got broken when adding new juice to the tank. if you can find one, get one that fills from the bottom and that should fix the issue. Until then, I just have to disassemble and rebuild every 5-10 tanks. It's quick and easy though; take off the bottom piece, swab clean with a q-tip or paper towel, and reattach. NBD for me.

My HCigar Taifun GT clone NEVER leaks when I use cotton wick. The coil on it is a 9/10 wrap 28ga. Kanthal 1.8mm ID with cotton wick just snug enough to slide through the coil's ID.

My Kayfun 3.1 ES clone is a little trickier in the fact that I always use the "Top Fill" method and then ensure that the top cap's threads just catch the tank's threads, then I flip it upside-down and wait a second for the air bubble to rise and then tighten the cap down. Every once in awhile or so I may get a drop or two leak out the cap's threads but that's about it.
