This is ECF.
This is a community dedicated to education of new and avid vapers alike.
The main concern of this community [up until recently it seems] is to help you get off and stay off the death-in-a-box we refer to as analogs.
No one wants to hear about your cloud chasing competitions.
No one wants to hear about your .000000012 ohm coils on your stacked 26650 batteries, that you cooly brush off because "NO, THATS THE CONTINUOUS AMP LIMIT BRO!"
There are plenty of places on facebook where the masses of uninformed and reckless "cloud-chasers" will gladly applaud your ridiculously unsafe attempt to turn yourself into a human fog machine.
Do i like clouds?
Do i like a big hot vape?
Hell yes i do.
do i run around a community of people that have taken me from 2 packs a day to quit for a year and flaunt ignorance by building these ridiculous setups all in the name of saying" MY CLOUD IS TOTALLY BIGGER!"?
No, because i respect this community and its dedication to safety.
Go back to facebook.
end rant.

Goodness, everyone has their own style and what they like. Sorry but news flash, just because YOU don't like something does NOT mean it should be abolished from ECF!!!!! My gosh, isn't that a little ridiculous and immature? Honestly if I don't care for something I don't pay attention to it. But it certainly does NOT mean it should be abolished! !! Think about what your saying. Thank goodness most people around here allow unique likes and dislikes without causing discord. It's called being a adult. We aren't going to like every thing but for heavens sakes, other people should be free to like and discuss what they want as well... I must say weather or not I believe in cloud chasing isn't the issue it's people having the freedom to like and dislike something without being abolished from the forum!! I think everyone should have the FREEDOM of talking about cloud chasing if they wish. Just because I may or may not agree with something does NOT mean it should not be allowed! !!!!!!!

cloud chasers are the reason why we have the technology we have today and I'm sure moat everybody will agree with me on that we have the safety because they are willing to push the limits and find new better ways to vape I consider myself as a cloud chaser it's fun I'm not dumb about it and have help a lot of people because of what I've learned from it we are all civil people here we all have our own opinions but we don't get mad about it when someone else disagrees with us.

That's an interesting point; most of us have seen other fields and technologies advance because of people "pushing the limits" and questioning the norm.

Nothing moves forward if everyone is happy with "good enough".

Oh my, you really are going to blow a gasket now:

Cloud Chasers

I like this...it is good to have a place where Cloud Chasers can keep each other straight and not confuse the poor new vapers who don't even know what a clearo, carto, RBA etc is...or the first thing about why a mech, or a vv or a vw device.

I think one thing is that we have some very experienced CCs who do know what they are doing and are doing it safely. And then like any other extreme activity or new trend or fad we have the fans. Like the fan who inadvertently bombed Vape Blast with his modded mod.

The problem with Cloud Chasing is not the people who are doing it correctly but those who decide it's cool to do but don't know the first thing about all of the thought, building skill and knowledge of Ohms Law, batteries, etc. to do it and maintain a face.

In the end, we all suffer if we let someone win the Darwin awards because we didn't set them on the right course.

It is my hope that our experienced competitors will take some of these neck-bearded nubs under their wing and bat back stupid assumptions and dangerous builds.

This is going to sound awful but I honestly believe that there are quite a few people who are just TSTP...too stupid to plume. It is that group that needs the most education.

Here's an idea, Chief. Mind your own business. I, for one, don't want to sit here and read your rambling nonsense about how you are losing sleep at night because of the scary cloud chasers.

Have a great weekend!

theres a big difference in replying to something someone doesn't agree with and making a thread saying to stop making posts about things you don't like.

I don't like what you are saying therefore you shouldn't say it. I have wondered about the thought processes [or lack thereof] of those seek to exclude or silence views with which one disagrees for a long time, I see this mind set all around.

Let me follow up with this.
I build low ohm builds, i blow clouds.
what i don't like is the ignorance of the people that come along with the "sub-culture" as one of you put it.
looking at the world, i feel this could be said for any sect of humanity. there are always going to be the ignorant ones, but to flaunt it openly when we ARE under such a large microscope, it feels inappropriate to me.
if i offended anyone or made it seem like its "my way or the highway", let me apologize right now, it was never meant that way. i had just come home from work and dealt with the kid who decided stacking 2 EFEST 18650's and running a .15 ohm coil would just be the perfect mixture. hes lucky he still has a face and hands.

I guess the point im trying to get across (which looking at my original post, didnt come across at al) is that safety is paramount, and the education of that safety isnt being properly built into a large percentage of the new vaping community.

Agreed...which is absolutely why they should be here on ECF, letting our experts give them the "what for" for building potential pipe bombs and learning how to do what they want to do safely...We now have a section for just that and I couldn't be happier about it if I tried.

The cat is outta the bag and there is no getting it back in, so we may as well be responsible and help them.

When I think of the stupid things I did as a young girl....pfft I am lucky to be alive. If I were vaping I would be pushing it to the extreme as well at that age. I would have been thrilled to have a place to go where I could get the knowledge I needed to do it safely. Thank goodness ECF is that place.

You just have to be able to move past the braggadocio of youth, roll up your sleeves and help.
