Leaving cartridges in atomisers?

Can I leave a cart filled with liquid in an att even if it's not attached to a battery? Will it leak?

Have 2 sitting on my desk right here. Been doing it for weeks and no issues. (FYI, using Ego mega atty and Carts.)
Use these 2 for some less used flavours, and cartos for my all day ones.
