If you haven't bought it, don't.

These smaller diameter vandal types are a bear to activate.

I won one of these, which appears to have the same LED switch.

Useless, I never use it. Couldn't really activate it with my thumb comfortably. The button is too small and too flush. It's a common complaint among owners of this PV.

That look exactly the same...I got the switch but haven't cut the hole for it yet. I do have some other ones though.

The rating's way too low. 12 VDC at 50 ma, not enough to run an atty. If you got cute with it and used it to activate a power transistor, that would work, but simple direct-line wiring isn't an option with this.

This is just an activation switch, the power to the atty will be going through the board.

Yep Yep

"External component recommendations
The DNA 20D is a self-contained power regulator which does not require external components for its user interface. However, it does support the use of external interface components if desired.
Switch:
Use a momentary on, normally open type switch or button. A standard pushbutton switch is appropriate. The switch is a logic function – all power switching is handled with transistors inside the DNA module, so the switch does not need to be rated for power. A waterproof or processed sealed switch is recommended."

I used a PN2222A Transistor in one of my DNA20D mods to fix the illuminated switch problem and it still lights up nicely 11 months on.

The resistor needed to be 1/4Watt 47 ohm for the 2v 50ma LED (according to an online calculator) but 100ohm according to the seller of the switch (hence the variable resistor).

I built my mod with the DNA screen against my palm so I find it easier to slightly move my finger whilst vaping to see if the LED is lit instead of moving my palm out of the way.
