..and survived. Went to the local B&M vape store for a quick coil re-stock, gas station to fill up the car and then Home Depot to return some stuff and pick up a new shower rod I heard the wife wanted the last time we were there. It was a conscious decision not to take a vape with me, the first time I've really gone out without one - sorta like the days of making sure I had the cigs with me all the time.

I still love my vape, but it's a small victory in not being dependent on it.

I once made it almost to the interstate, 1.5 miles...........then turned around. was heading for a 12hr shift in hell.

Have gone 6-7 hours out with no issues. :thumb:

I had a 11-hr shift and realized I forgot my vape like 10mins from home and was like nope F that and turned around to pick it up lol.
Not quite ready to make that jump of going to work or be away from mine for an indeterminate period of time yet either. Out-the-door check still consists of:
"Spectacles; testicles; wallet; keys; vape. Yep, ready to roll." :D

NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!
You can't have my vape! I won't leave it!
MINE! MINE! MINE!
My Precious!!

OK..... I don't think I'm ready to take that step yet.....
LOL. :D Someone has separation anxiety issues, methinks.. ;)

@Douggro way to go! Yes indeed a large victory.:) Congrats
Thanks! Large or small, it's a victory nonetheless. I'm coming up on six months off the cigs, so it's affirmation that I can still make progress in getting more of the old habits set aside. :)

It's nice not being dependent on things and big congrats to the OP for having the courage to do it. It doesn't matter if you forgot to bring it or not.. the point is.. You Can Do it!

I'm actually in a very rare situation myself. Having quit smoking since Dec 3rd, I only just recently stopped taking my vape to work with me for the past 2 weeks! Not only that, I'm vaping considerably less than I ever have and I honestly feel I can stop vaping whenever I want to now.

My plan was never to keep vaping indefinitely as I'm a firm believer that not inhaling anything is better than not doing so at all. Only problem is I have two back up vapes and enough premade coils to last for months. I wouldn't even be surprised if I never get around to even look at rebuilding or DIY juice before I stop vaping for good.

My vaping journey may be coming to end before it even got started. Only time will tell, but I know I'm fully over the cigs for good now so that's all that matters.

I can count on one hand how many times I've left home without a vaporizer. Sometimes I immediately go back for it & other times I've decided I'll be ok without it.....only because I wasn't going to be out long to begin with.
The fantastic thing about vaping is you never have to quit if you dont want to. It doesn't bring with it the same risk factors that smoking cigarettes does. Now let it had been my phone(s)....no way in hell I would've made it thru 15 min without them; no matter how close I was to my destination- I'm going back home to get them.
