It's defective. I had an MVP 20W and an Itaste VV4 that did that. Got so hot that it was almost too hot to touch. Not safe IMHO. Innokin replaced them. That was a long time ago.

It's getting trashed 4 sure. My 2 vv3's went into auto fire mode within a week of each other lol. My first variable mods after a few years of eGos-was nice at the time.
