I just wrote a long (for me) first post and when I got done admiring it (too long) I hit "Preview Post" and was told that I needed to log in. *sigh* This time I will make a copy before I try to post it.
I will try to make this a quick introduction as my fingers are already tired.
I have been vaping for about eight or so months and absolutely love it, I recently (in the last couple months) made my first wood box mod. It's a five volt system using two series protected 18350 batteries and a 3A 5v regulator with control pin from madvapes. It's basic, but not bad. I will post a picture of it when I figure out how that works here... anyway, I am now considering making a VV wood mod.
What I have in mind is something fairly small but rugged. I want it to be able to handle heavy loads (duel and triple coil carts and whatever) so I'm thinking about using 4 small batteries in series parallel, or 2x2. Has anyone tried that?
Also I am considering using a small analog meter movement built in to the unit as I'm thinking I may save some room and I'm not all that concerned about accuracy. Any advise? Has any of this been done?
I read here off and on and figured it's time I got involved.
I'm an Electronics Tech BTW... I hope there is room for one more of THOSE here.
All the best!
