Please write to your Congrescritter urging them to cut ALL funding from the anti-smoker wings at CDC & FDA. vaping has already helped more Americans quit smoking (4.3M) than all the official programs combined and it cost $0 to the taxpayer. In fact, vaping is a booming business generating both tax revenue and jobs. In contrast, most recently CDC wasted $200M on the [HASHTAG]#CDCTips[/HASHTAG] smoker-demonization campaign and pretend to have gotten less than 100K to *try* to quit.

The story below is nothing but vile drivel from the [HASHTAG]#TobaccoControl[/HASHTAG] industry, but it gives you an idea of what's on the table.

That $200 million campaign was spent over several years, since at least 2012. On the CDC website it says that "OSH has a staff of about 165 people and an annual budget of approximately $100 million. Every year OSH distributes about 75 percent of these funds extramurally to support tobacco control initiatives."

So the supposed "funding cut" to "only" $105.5 million in fiscal 2016 really isn't a cut. I strongly suspect that the only thing being "cut" is the funding PROPOSAL in the appropriations bill! This is just another trick they play on us to make us believe they're doing good things that we approve of, when it's really just BUSINESS AS USUAL.:-x

Yes, that's why I wrote: "cut ALL funding"
