All liquid is from dekang. it is bottled at the factory i dont have the time to bottle it myself. caps onthe bottles have NOTHING to do with the strength of the liquids. as for the pictures on the bottles they are generic images, think chinese lol. I dont have my stuff custom bottled, and custom labeled. i just get the generic format and let them put on whatever color cap they want, really i didnt think it was a big deal, but from a nother thread i read where people wanna question it come and ask the source and not assume :)

Must have missed the referred to thread. All I can say though is I've never had any problems with the liquids I've gotten from Shawn.

Yeah I saw that thread, there is also another where the same person is questioning another supplier on where his parts come from.

did I comment in that thread? lol

just curious if it's the one I'm thinking of.

Blame Dekang for switching formulas and the wiki here for correlating bottle cap colors and strengths. Ever since Dekang added higher strength liquids, bottle cap colors have meant nothing. They also seemed to have changed formulas at the same time. For new vapors, that meant a change-over in taste, bottle cap colors and bottle labels.

Also, there is the whole your tastebuds are changing issue.

Add in the nicotine strength taste difference between 18mg, 24mg and 36mg liquids of the same flavor...and you have a mess on your hands.

So, I asked Shawn and checked the boards. The problem in a nutshell is Dekang, for the reasons listed above.

However, Dekang is also the source for the most consistent juice on the market in terms of purity and mg (or, the listed strength, is the listed strength - no BS.) This was confirmed by DVap in the "are we getting it" thread.

So, find flavors that you like and ride it out until the next formula changes by Dekang.

I trust Shawn. And he gets the lion share of my ecig budget. No one this .... about OEM equipment would then turn around and screw with the juice. That just doesn't make sense.

I plan to stay with DeKang at least until I pop my first atty. (8 weeks and still cookin'). And Shawn's the best supplier I've found. I've noticed a taste difference between factories (from other suppliers) but nothing that takes longer than an hour or two to get used to. And my taste receptors have definitely changed since the beginning. I wasn't impressed with my first bottle of Virginia. So it sat in my drawer for 6 weeks. Now it's my 2nd favorite.

Keep on truckin' Shawn. Your doing a great job!
