here is a pic using a wire from the negative of the battery which is terminated under a screw with a magnet holding the negative spring of the kick...note the negative spring on the kick has to be bent out to put it under the magnet...bending this negative spring on the kick could damage the kick...

I personally do not recommend this modification......

I didn't bend my kicked wire or pull it out at all for my Phidias. It is not necessary at all. It works well and has never slipped. Getting the tiny magnet on it was a bit tedious the first couple of times--but now it's a piece of cake, usually. :)

And, I've never had to clean contacts -- like I had to daily on some other recommended mods using the aluminum case for the ground contact.

how about a pic of it...I would like to see it....

Well i doug them out and my bubbles been busted the copper runs up the switch side.So I'm back to square one.BummerI think it will be easee for me to run a strip in stead of a wire I hate the thought of putting holes in one of my mods.Oh well I have time kicks hasen't arived yet. I'll show a pic any way.

Yep, Drott, the copper in your pic is the positive from the battery feeding the button.....the negative (spring) in the top of the pic goes to the negative side of the atty connector....oh well, was worth a try, but no cigar....

and as TR said she did not nave to bend the spring on the kick....great....kick won't be damaged in that case....
