Here's a couple of ideas. See if you can loosen the 1.5 just a hair, it could be in a bit tight.

I know some have said something about lining up the holes in the cone to the chimney a certain way...but I don't recall the details.

I do believe it has something to do with airflow. I haven't noticed this problem with a new atty and for me it's always been bath time. (vmods like to take baths every so often) Hoping someone else has some ideas for you.

K fourth.. Please read the following posts as well before trying..Some stuff you may need. Some paper clips,a standard round toothpick,a push pin, and your materials. Oh and a torch. The drill bit measures 2.4mm which is roughly 1/8.
20130925_114151.jpg

First a cotton wick which you insert the cotton after. That I'm assuming you can do. Cotton should fit through coil rather easily. Will expand once soaked with e liquid.
Torch a 4" length of 32g kanthal. Now, until you drill the top cap, which you'll need to do to use on and vmod, you'll be centering your coil over the centered air inlet. 6 full wraps around the toothpick or drill bit should give you close to the 2.0ohms you're looking for. To center though you'll be doing 5 1/2 wraps with the legs pointing in opposite directions. Pull each coil tightly as you wrap. The coil doesn't need to be perfectly even, just tight.

Then feed each leg on opposite sides of the post while still on the drill bit or toothpick. Adjust coils and pull tight as necessary after getting the legs through the posts

Once it looks good slowly twist back and forth as you slide out the drill bit or toothpick. Then fire it up. Now insert your rolled cotton. Remember it expands so just needs to slide in.

You CAN adjust the coil after removing the drill bit or toothpick. Paperclip or the end of the toothpick is good for this...

Really hope that bully sets up the same. Now to build with silica is a little different. You have 3mm silica which I think is pretty thick. I'm using 1.5mm here which I would double up and fold over once. With the 3mm a single length should be good.

I prefer the pin for this. More narrow and sides out easier. Again wrap each coil tightly as you go. Not choking tight. Snuggly tight.

See, not perfect looking..
20130926_220920.jpg

If you're centering it. Opposite legs.

Remove pin, trim excess silica and wire and enjoy. Also I like to heat the silica briefly. Sometimes has a taste..

Don't test fire with pin in place...

Now, once you drill the top cap you'll be attaching coils like this. Both legs feeding into the posts on the same side. MUCH easier IMO. Make your coil the same depending on what you're doing. Silica or natural.

Always liked the the small space in the center. Covers more area and is like two little coils.

Then feed your cotton through.. or with your silica

Enjoy and ask away..I really tried being thorough..
Don't get discouraged and try try again

Now if you're not happy with 6 or 5.5 wraps of 32 than try one wrap less or more. I've found I prefer 30g with my mechanicals. I also like the 1.5ohm slant coil though..

Less one wrap of 32 will give you a lower ohm coil. 2.0ohms on your coil may not vape the same as your 2.0ohm slant coil. Just food for thought...

I would have liked to do a better tutorial but,I just kept getting interrupted in the process. So it got broken up a bit. Please critique anywhere that needs clarification...

Better part of yesterday morning was spent psyching myself up to clean my dog who had#2 issues and managed to cover her entire backside in it. Poor girl. I can't do smells! Dry heaved through the whole process.
Paced like an hour back and forth, not letting her inside.

lol was awful.. sorry TMI...

I had a miniature poodle (great dog...smart as a whip) who sometimes had "issues" with poop sticking due to his very curly hair that...if left unchecked...acted like a net when it got too long! I sympathize!!

Great photo tutorial, Eddie!!! Many many thanks!! I'm going to tackle this project again soon...maybe later today or certainly in the next couple of days. As for drilling holes, meh. That ain't gonna work for me. But if I can get the A7 to work on the Bogger sans the hole drilling part...I'll be ecstatic! :D

I looked but haven't been able to find a direct answer. Is there any RBA that will work directly on the Vmod without modifications ?

The version of the rm2 I got would be a poor choice for the vmod. There's any number of reasons. The a7 is popular but, still needs to be drilled out in the top cap.

Find a RDA you like and drill the center post out. No matter what you use on the Vmod you'll need a 510-510 adapter and some O-rings and some drilling....

Don't hesitate to ask any questions. Even if you think it's obvious. Drilling a top cap is much easier than say drilling a center post. You could easily do it or have hubby do it. Just be sure to align and mark the right spot..

A swivel pin vise and wire bits is like$12 on eBay.. get the coils going and then we'll figure it out.

Yeah,I don't do well with foul smells. I can handle a lot and I'm huge on smells I like.. that smell kills me. It was quite a sight...
