Yes, just remove the tube, rinse the with hot water, pat dry with a paper towel, do a dry burn, put the tube back on and refill.
Piece of cake! ;-)

GET OUT! I can remove the tube?? Edit: Never mind - figured it out, washed and dry burned successfully!

How, please? I've been washing them in really hot water by stoppering the top and bottom and shake-shake-shaking. What I love about these carts is the ability to see whether or not they're fully cleaned when I'm done. Their being 2.5 ohm was another big selling point.

My impressions:

Today my device was accidentally triggered and by the time I noticed it the juice in the tube was sizzling, the tube was warmish/hot and I couldn't tell whether I was smelling RY4 or melty plastic. Completely my bad. Edit: The tube does get warm at 3.7 so I take a couple pulls, use another mod for another couple more then come back to it. At first I thought the pull was too tight but it's actually so light there's no pull at all. Nice.

I've found 100% VG to wick slower than a mix. Filling - regardless the juice type - is really, really easy by removing the plugs and using the 'pouring a beer' method. I had given up on the ceramics and had to adjust to using them again because of the way they wick but seeing the clean, so to speak, was my motivation to keep at it. The trick is to - and I have no problem whatsoever with looking odd - titling and rotating the mod every once in awhile to make sure the wicky thing has contact with juice. I don't know if this really works or if it's my imagination but I'm happy with the result. :vapor:

Uh oh...

I just tried a dry burn with one of the unused mods and it burned for about 3 seconds, zapped off and won't fire again.

Here's what I did: I removed the tube, rinsed it out thoroughly in hot water and set it aside. I pressed the switch on my device to dry burn the innards. It fired up immediately, glowed for about three seconds and no attempts to revive it have worked. I've never popped an atty right out of the package nor any cartos so this is puzzling.

Ok I just ordered the 2.5 ohm and the 3.0 ohm.. I should know this but I don't... what voltage is best for each? I have egos and a Buzz VV. They do not recommend LR for the Buzz because of the stress on the batteries causing the tube to get hot. But someone with knowledge and the ability to explain it to a OHM Idiot would really help me.. THanks! Jody

Have you ever heard "Don't run your atty dry, you'll kill it". Well that's the risk you run.

 Yep! However, I've - in all my noob cluelessness - successfully dry burned gunk out of attys with nary a problem before. In fact, I've only popped one atty (from another vendor) and that was when I overfilled it. I don't know if Bruce does a special fire dance over his stuff or something but it has always survived me. I still have all the attys I got from him and all are dry burned between flavors. I do this at my own risk and wouldn't blame him if they died but this brand new mod was the only one that ever did.

(Btw, give his HV 801s a try - they hold a lot of juice and should have a Ruggedized label on them!)

What else is different in the Clear E2 mod vs the unmodded kind? The mod works fantastic for me but I just got some unmodded XL E2's and they don't work nearly as well for me. There must be something else going on here other than just the clear tube. I tried to take the regular E2 apart but the casing is on there pretty good and I can't remove it without either ruining the threads or pulling out the fitting on my PV.

I used a pipe cutter as recommended on the other thread. I just cut the outer casing just a 1/4 of an inch from the bottom connector. Does a tight seal if your using a 3ml syringe.

I think the slightly larger size of the tube makes a difference. Seems silly but nothing else is different!

The ceramics provide a cleaner vape because they omit fill but having a larger diameter makes a good thing even better. Tasty and plume-ful is how I'd describe the experience.

I took a really sharp pair of cuticle clippers and clipped the openings on the 3rd ring a tad bigger. I'm talking about the openings (2 of them) that slide down on the cup. I don't have any wicking issues at all. I love the syringe mod since it eliminates the need for a needle. All 3 rings come out really easy so all you have to do is drip down the side of the tubing.

debb...if I can make these, you can too. I have a small pipe cutter, sharp cuticle scissors, old eGo battery, box cutter, and a small pair of pliers. Here are some good videos on how to make it. It is easier than it looks.
