Just wanted to share something I bought a few days ago: Amazon.com: Belkin Conserve Socket F7C009q Energy-Saving Outlet: Electronics . I use it for when i charge my 18650 batteries. Its main purpose is for energy conservation but the simplicity compared to other timed switches i've seen is what drew me in. In the words of Ron Popeil, "Just set it and forget it!" Of course its not a substitute for awareness, just another failsafe to put into place that I found useful.
