Li-Ion Polymer Safe for E Cig use?

I have some Lithium Polymer cells, these things are very capable of high discharge, has anyone out there used these in their own DIY mod?

Was thinking about fabbing my own DIY mod, something big and monstrous like those box mods I see, just for use at home and not for travel...

Is the industry using Li-Mn chemistry because of the safety and stability? Li-Po isn't the safest thing in the world, but the RC world have used it successfully, just takes more monitoring and keeping track of the battery's condition more... Any thoughts?

There are some devices that use LiPo's.
They are not generally used because they can be dangerous. If you know what you are doing, there is no reason not to use LiPo's
