Define 'mod', regulated, mechanical, single or multi cell.

What specific cells are you asking about?
Name brand, mah, CDR or any letters / numbers on the wrap to identify.

AW batteries for 18490/500
I'm in the UK so we are a bit limited unlike you guys.
AW is a good safe brand. I think they are rewraps. Good rewraps though.
@Topwater Elvis can put me right if I'm incorrect there

I think they're 18A continuous as well!
When 18650 25rs are only 20A

That is not verified though as I could not find any expert other than Mooch and he couldn't help as he hadn't tested them if I remember rightly.

The only 18490 I would use is an AW 18490 1200mah 15c / 18a CDR, but I wouldn't push them to 18a, I stay under 12a at all times using them.
I have no idea if they'd be sufficient for your use considering you gave no information & refuse to answer questions that would help with suitability / selection.

These: AW IMR 18490 3.7v 1200mAh, are the batteries you need, especially if you are going to use them in a ProVari... buy them in pairs and I think they still send them in a nice plastic case.

Yes, they are a particular chemistry of standard 4.20V Li-Ion batteries. We don't use many of them anymore though as their performance is, typically, quite limited versus the other chemistries. They are a slightly safer chemistry though.
