I you still love your Provari's you can send them in for repair/refurbish. The company Provape has closed their doors but I do believe the warranty service will still be available for a while longer.

You may want to check this thread Provape devices

I have used my Provari for years. One is now completely dead and the other going. I use carto tanks and make my own juice. What would you recommend? I need something simple and safe. If you are a Provari user and bought something new please let me know.
You can contact Bill about repairs for the ones you have. A link to his email address is on the old Provape site. He fixed one of mine, and I just sent him some more for software updates. It can take a few weeks from start to finish, but I'm happy with the service.

Limited stock of 2.5's still available here:
Provari 2.5

If you go through the verification process you can watch the classifieds on ECF and try to catch some from the ECF people.

You could try a Pico if you want an inexpensive box mod. You will need to have tanks around 22mm, but if you were using something on a Provari, you might be OK with them. The Pico works with tootle tanks, and takes flat top batteries, so you might need to get a new pair of batteries if you are changing to a newer mod.

hey folks.
cool thread.

Yeah it really is a shame that they closed.

Personally, to me, the provari p3's and Procyon were/are some of the slickest—nope they were the slickest— tube mods ever made. Simple and clean. Most importantly, they were the easy to make whatever kind of tank you were running look good.
I'm a little obsessive on the cosmetic department...They have to look cool!

I'd suggest picking up a 2.5 in the classys by one of the many cool folks in there.
2.5's are bullet proof—well almost bullet proof.

@Asbestos4004
yeah those Dicodes definitely look cool. They definitely look sterdy!
IM interested, do you have one?

I've had dicodes in the past....dani box, a #9, an dani extreme.... I've had several. Build quality is about as close to perfect as I've seen. The only draw back to me is the complex menu. I'm sure it's easy enough if you really try to learn it but all I needed them to do was run in wattage mode. I got 'lost' in the menu a time or two....but this is coming from someone who can barely manage to send a text.
I have always loved ProVape products....but I'd say dicodes is as good or better, quality and fit and finish wise.

ME too... I'm in the same boat.

On the dicodes. Cool!
I was thinking about taking the plung on one of their tubes but... that little voice in the back of my mind keeps saying,"provari...provari." Lol

THe dicodes does look cool though.

There's plenty of good mods out there that provari being closed won't hurt. For an all day mod I'd rather carry a small pico, or single 18650 box mod over the longer regulated tubes. Since I never used cartos I can't give you any recommendations on what works best with them but all the newish mods should do you fine, might not be as reliable as the provaris tough.

Lots of decent mods out there but so far I have found Dicodes to be the only one comparable to provape in quality, service and styles. Hohm tech is to new to rate as a company yet but they have promise. Yihi mods are good but don't have the quality or service even though the cost is comparable. Any other company falls in the throw away class.

Yeah... But the Provari's especially the Procyon look...so darn slick.

The dicodes comes close in the looks department but... It's just not as slick.
Sure it check's the minimal box but... it feels like it's just a tube. That's what the looks of that Dicodes makes me think of, "It's just a tube." Obviously it's not. Obviously the thing performs great and all. What I'm trying to say is it's bordering on bland. It has no details.

The Procyon is so minimal—with mind you—just the right amount of third read details. Those little greek accents around the top and bottom...Just right.
The looks of the Procyon, as far as I'm concerned are just, well, perfect.

Keep in mind. I don't own one. I'd like a stealth one. Im not sure how much I'll like that end cap thingy.
Regardless, It's the most timeless mod I've ever seen.

I'm the other way round, lol. I think the exquisite finish of the Dicodes far out passes the detailing of the provape products. I was a steel worker tho. And the finish and disappearing threads on the GP mechs are sweeet also. Hate to see all that ruined by cnc detailing, or ugh, Paint :(.
