I've been using these for switches. They seem to be the best looking for the price. The switches are all labeled "lighted" but Ive never seen any light. Is/Would the light use a lot of power? Does anyone know how the lighted switch works with only 2 wires?

Doorbell Voltages are typically in the range of 12 to 24 Volts. A typical e-cig may not have enough umph to light them.

Yes Breeze is right. door bell circuits are AC. and It is a low current switch. They light when NOT pressed and go out when the button is pressed, shorting across the light.

Normally lighted doorbell switches have a constant light on them. This might be drawing power from your battery when not even pressed. The bulb might not light up, however, as it is most likely 120v or 220v. Either way, I would check to make sure it is not a constant on to save your batteries?
