Line v2 no resistance between the posts? Internal short?

I may be missing something, but with an empty Line with no wick or coil, there should be infinite resistance between the long and short silver posts. I get none. Well, a little, .2-.5 ohms, but it should be infinite, yes? Can the positive post be shorted against the case? I see the insulation there on both posts where they enter the post, but... huh?

I may be missing something obvious...
