I don't know the answer to your questions as I haven't started DIY'ing yet. I've seen a lot of people discuss Wizard Labs as a good place to get supplies - might be a good place to start. I also know that MyFreedomSmokes has an extensive DIY section.

Hopefully someone will come along and answer these questions for you soon!

Someone else can give you suggestions on where to buy.

Making 18mg liquid, you can get approximately 700 ml from 126 ml of 100 mg/ml base. About 70 bottles. Pretty good!

As far as which base to get, that depends more on the ratio of PG/VG you prefer. For example, I vape 70/30 so I get PG base. It make calculating much easier.

For example, if I'm making 30 ml of 18 mg. with 10% flavoring and I use a 60 mg base.

9 ml nicotine
9 PG
9 VG
3 ml flavoring

I fool around with the calculator and keep the calculations simple if I can.

Is there a way to block pictures on this site so I won't have to look at someone's feet?

How about weird guy dressed as Little John?

As for feet, if the ECF Moderator Caridwen changed that avatar, I wouldn't know who was posting.

OP: Looks like you have some good answers. Play with a calculator and see which, PG or VG, is going to work best for your recipes and then go that way.

You could resize this one. I wouldn't tell anyone it wasn't your drawing of your foot.

++1 on the EJuiceMeUp Calculator.

I JUST started to try DIY, and that thing is a GREAT tool - good to "fiddle with numbers" and see what happens to other variables as a learning method, good for putting together a recipe to mix. REALLY well built, intuitive software, but it's also good enough to handle a complicated mix.
