I want to take a minute to remind everyone that if you have a liquid that you would not vape for reasons other than you just not liking it or the PG/VG thing, then PLEASE don't pass it on it PIF. If in doubt, throw it out. The main reasons we all vape are to regain some health and break a bad habit. Let's watch out for each other and keep it safe!

Toni, I promise to unsticky this in a day or so. I swear I will!

I've asked it before and I'll ask it again...

How does one tell the difference between a flavor that you just don't like and a bad juice????

If it has a bad odor, slimy gunk or goo and I don't do cloudy either. Taste is subjective and it is really hard to judge liquid because of this. But, if it has stuff floating in it or is all cloudy, I would have to say get rid of it. I dumped a bottle of my fave MFS Cappuccino because I added something and it made it really cloudy. I NEVER toss MFS capp. But I did that day.

I have a sample bottle of Atomic Fireball that smells so perfumey, that I'm gonna toss it. I didn't have the guts to try it. I don't think anyone wants to vape cinnamon perfume. EEEEWWW. If it doesn't smell right or look right, throw it out.

Yeah I had a bottle of Almond Joye no supplier or PG/VG or Nic listed.. but it was AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. And it smelled like it tasted. But it wasn't 'cloudy' or gooey or anything. Actually was very clean. I just PIF'd it because I got it from a veeeeeeery trustworthy person so I hope it's not bad. We will have to see what the receiver thinks.

Nicotine does have a chemical smell to it, especially in higher strengths. Usually you won't smell it because of flavorings that have been added. There have been several reports for different suppliers of a perfume smell. Some have offered advice on how to get rid of it, but since I'm not sure it would be safe to vape liquid that "used" to smell like perfume any more than it would be safe to vape it while it still smells like perfume, I'm not going to pass it on. I just wanted to give a heads up on the chemical smell of higher strengths.

My sincere apologies on this (referencing my recent pifs)

I swear, I had no thoughts that it might be bad. Mine did not have any goo, nor was it cloudy. Several were lighter than I expected, or tasted weak TO ME, but mainly I thought I just didn't like them.

I would never intentionally pass along bad juice. Hope you know that! I have thrown away juice I thought was bad, or passed it to someone to "inspect" for me.

I have also notified all parties that received my juice (that is not confirmed, nor denied bad), about the thread, and offered (begged :)) to make restitution.

Oh, hon, I don't think anyone is blaming you for anything. I still am not convinced the TV co-op stuff is bad, just different than we were expecting. I found some flavors that I loved in the co-op with nothing to compare to them. If I buy some and it has "more" flavor then that's all the better for me. I don't think you did a single thing wrong.

We also just had a case of a popular supplier getting very sick, including emergency hospitalization, from possibly vaping a bad liquid. Symptoms of acute nicotine poisoning. It was very scary. So, one more vote for being extra careful when trading, vaping or making your own.

I missed that one. Are they alright? What happened?

You haven't done anything you need to be sorry for. Taste is subjective and you had no way of knowing for sure what was going on. We still don't know and truth be told, probably never will.

I missed that one. Are they alright? What happened?

Isaac from Ikenvape was having symptoms of anxiety/panic attacks. He went to the hospital and they did an EKG and it came back fine. Since he told them he vaped, they right away blamed the juice and said it was nic poisoning. I'm not saying that it wasn't nicotine poisoning. I'm only saying that the symptoms he listed were consistent with many different diagnoses. From what he wrote, the doctors only thought the problem was with his heart. Once the heart was ruled out, they immediately accused the nicotine. I, and others, asked in a thread if they tested him for nicotine poisoning because he didn't mention it in his post, but he never said if they did or not.

Aside from that, you're right Jules. If something is funky with your juice, don't give it to others. I had a couple bottles from Gourmet Flavor Creations that were absolutely the worst juice I've ever tried. There was clearly something wrong with them. I couldn't give them away to anyone.

I know, I know (and thank you both ) I just wanted to say that.. I didn't want there to be any doubt. I honestly thought it was my tastes (as I don't like most ALL juices that are 'store' bought) and when I put them on the PIF, that was my thinking. It was afterwards, when I was asked about it, that I became concerned. Just wanted to throw that out there!

Thanks for answering. Of course they are going to go for the thing that will look the worst and not bother to look for the real cause. Since I started vaping my heart problems have actually gotten better. My cardiologist loves it and I always have to give him business cards when I see him. I am glad that Isaac is alright and I hope they find out what really caused his problems.

I got some juices from TV that had real intense throat hit but no vapor on exhale, several people said it was because the juices were PG. I added some 12mg VG that I use in my DIY juices and it got very cloudy! Are you saying I should throw that out?!

You added VG to a PG flavor and it became cloudy? Did it stay cloudy after shaking? I'm also curious as to what flavor as I'd like to try experimentations on that.

as far as cloudy goes - what if it's a dark liquid and u can't really tell? I know i wouldn't send off anything i wouldn't (or haven't in a lot of cases) vape myself but what should I look out for?

speaking of which what exactly is lilith's lilac supposed to taste like? i don't think i'd want to try it again but i don't know whether it's my tastes or what - it seems ok and when i tried it there were no adverse affects but b4 i even THINK of sending it on i'd like to make sure it was me and not the liquid

Let's see if I can get all the details straight;
My friend ordered cappuccino with amaretto and I got spiced rum ( asked to sub honey for orange ) and tobacco with clove & cinnamon. The cappuccino had a perfume taste and would separate quickly, the spiced rum and cappuccino are kinda dark so I'm not sure if they turned cloudy but the tobacco was a clear kinda yellow color and it turned very cloudy when I added the VG. I use this VG in mixing my own flavors and it has never done this before.
