Liquid taste in my starter tank

I have a starter tank (removable atomizer with a frosted tank that looks similar to the Tornado tanks) that came with my Smok Tech starter kit. I've found that I have the liquid coming from the tank into my mouth. This is my second go around with an e-cig and while I do enjoy it, the liquid coming from the tank into my mouth is not appealing at all. I have a CE5 tank that I'm using with another flavor and remember from my first go around that you never get the taste out of the atomizer even after cleaning it.

For me, having the liquid come from the tank is a major problem, especially when I'm driving or just sitting on the couch enjoying a good vape.

Any ideas on how to fix this other than get another tank?
