@PJReid If you don’t mind, I’d bet you’d be able to recommend a good vodka to try in a White Russian? I haven’t ordered any yet. Wanted to get a couple on the order so, should the first not work, I don’t have to wait again to get another in.
1) VT Russian Vodka (maybe)
2) ???

I am not aware of any other vodka flavors besides VTA. Some people add a few drops of actual vodka to recipes. I have dissolved menthol crystals in vodka and it worked well but I wasn't looking for a boozy flavor at that time - just the most efficient way to make a menthol concentrate.

Vodka doesn't really have a distinct flavor where Gin, Brandy, Bourbon, etc. do. Gin might be a better choice if you are trying to add a boozy flavor to a juice. I am going to mix up all my various Breezes with Gin instead of Vodka.

Finding my VT Russian Vodka kinda bland for a main flavor and it has no boozy taste to me. The VT Rum I find too mild but good with the addition of a second rum flavor.

Yep, not much flavor in VTA Russian Vodka. I do think that VTA Rums mixed with FA Jamaican are really nice!

Oh, and FA's Liquid Amber!!!! I bet you could put that in any juice for a little extra effect of fermentation.

I have VTA light rum, FA Jamaican Rum & FA liquid amber. I should probably get a gin flavor. I've never sought out boozy flavors. So wasn't aware there aren't more options. I knew you'd have valuable ideas though. Thank you!

@PJReid I know your Pina Colada needs to steep but last night I couldn’t help myself:laugh: Oh yeah, it’s good!:p

Steeping isn't required. I do think it improves a bit with age, but feel free to S&V. I am SO glad you like it. :)

I mixed it up Thursday morning. So tomorrow morning will be 3 days. I only dripped enough to try a couple times. Had planed on once but so tasty had to go back in:laugh: I don’t usually have a hard time waiting for steeps, especially short ones. I think Rita will love it!

That is awesome and I printed it. LOL. The husband is very parsimonious when it comes to ink and paper but he's busy outside. Now, I just need to grab it fast when if finishes.... Although I think he may have conceded defeat and whatnot. He'll just probably tell me when we run out of ink or paper that it's my job to replace it. Which is fine by me. :)

    Thank you. I saved that.:)

Watch the video if you have time. It is an hour and a half long and there is a lot of nonsense, but those are great mixers and have some sensible opinions, if not always stated sensibly. LOL
