There is a surface mount version of the OKR-T That is nice and small. I can't remember the part number right now but digi-key had it on their site. I think it might be referenced in the easy OKR-T thread listed toward the beginning of this thread.

I have been meaning to get one to play with but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Hey bstedh, is your avatar a pic of that lamp in that movie "A Christmas Story"?, you know, the one about a kid and his Red Rider BB gun?...woh, just a little off-topic:p

Anyone tried this?
At 50Lx25Wx28H mm it's a bit large, but it's rated 3A continuous and 5A max (massive heatsink).

I think that may just be one of the LM2596 modules in a massive heat sink. I don't think we'd need that heat sink for vaping ;) :D.

Sheldon: That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."

I don't personally have an issue with the size of 18650's (in fact them and 18350's are starting to become my batts of choice lately), but a box that takes 4 abreast (1x4)? just not hand comfy...although if I found a box that held 4 (2x2)...run 3 batts in parallel and use the 4th batt slot for a 7ml DCC tank...might be a true weekend "don't worry about batts or refilling" PV...even if it is the size of a juicebox, hell, I'd build it just to have it:2cool:
