Yes, we are suggesting that ECF be left out of such discussions so there is no implication that we have a preference or is officially sponsoring this list. Especially when one method is being discussed as being preferable over another.

sorry, but that's just plain silly. forum members discussing their preferences does not infer or imply that a position has been taken by ecf. omitting the forum from discussions about av with vendors, or anyone else for that matter, does nothing to protect ecf (if that's the concern), given that it's a public forum.

I went to buy from one of the Vendors listed as EVS this weekend.

I have bought from them before and my name and address are on my account are as exactly written on my credit card and billing.

I didn't get verified.

I changed my ship to address to my name exactly as written on my DL and it went through without a hitch.

I thought I'd write this here as a reminder of how little changes like this can make a big difference.

again, this is not my problem and i will not be told what it is that i can or cannot talk about. i'm neither responsible for suppliers who seem to want to place blame where it unwarranted, nor for forum members who may be misrepresenting themselves. do not pretend to think that you, or anyone on staff at ecf, have any legal authority to censor what it is I wish to discuss.

@dperino I don't see the harm in saying that the posters on the forum where I frequent prefer one method or the other as long as I am not implying the forum staff favors the same method, but as a forum moderator/admin for my day job I obviously understand where the ECF staff is coming from. You can't see the difference between saying the users of the forum prefer one method, and implying that the forum (staff, mods, admins) itself prefer one of the AV methods?

thanks for your input in this discussion. i don't have a problem with being banned, i'll just take my toys and go elsewhere. if someone such as a vendor asks me where it is that i have acquired my info on av, or anything related to vaping, you can put your hard-earned doe on the fact that i'll tell them that at least partially it was through forum discussions on ecf. that's not a misrepresentation and shouldn't be construed as such. if a vendor sees fit to report this conversation to ecf in a way that infers i am representing ecf in this matter then, yes, there is a problem, but not in the way that's being suggested here. i've represented myself as a consumer, not as some sort-of mouthpiece for ecf. the onus isn't on me in this matter, if anything it's on ecf to establish its position with vendors. you're right, ecf make the rules, it's their playground. but a rule that implies that av and ecf cannot be uttered in the same sentence when talking to vendors is just bad juju from my perspective.

Thought you would like to know, tmcase, that I bought from MyFreedomSmokes today. I was asked for name exactly as it is on DL, address and age. Purchase went through.

I was a bit hesitant as I only use gift cards that are registered with address only.

Thank you so much for what you're doing here. A great help to me since I don't like buying on line in the first place.
