Speaking of efun.top I just won an istick 200w TC on one there giveaways and I need some advise what the kind of batteries are best for a 3 x 18650 mod - jeeeez sounds scary but it's for free what can I say? LOL

I really prefer the little mods, got 2 Istick Picos and I luv them, best thing for my little hands but I guess it's time to try the big ones for a change. I read somewhere that is best to use 30A instead of the 20A I have in my single battery mod? Any suggestions? I am mostly vaping around 0.5 ohm and hardly over 40w

Anyway I am so excited and I will enter more of those giveaways on efun.top they have them on a regular basis.

Right now, I would recommend Samsung 30Q. There have been reports of fake LG HG2 and LG HE2 batteries on the market.

I am running LG HG2, but I got 'em before the scare.

Really depends on your vaping style. If you're a high-wattage person, then it's true. I vape at 9-14 watts, single coil, ~1.5Ω, so 20A is plenty. I use AW IMR 18350 batteries (12A) in my mini ProVari.

I don't use multiple battery mods myself, but you may want to read about battery safety in general (check Mooch's and Baditude's blogs) and about the importance of marrying batteries in particular.

You'll be just fine with 20A batteries. Even with a single 18650 mod, you'd only be pulling less than 15 amps from a single battery at 3.4v charge. Since it'll be pulling from 3 batteries, not just one, the amp load per cell would be much lower - 4-5A.

BOOM!

I, too, am of the "replaceable battery" camp. Love my iStick 30 and 50 (yes, I've had it for almost 18 months, and haven't yet been plagued by some of the anomalies reported by others.) However, I've been adding the replaceable battery mods to my collection. I'd seriously eyed the COV Mini, but truthfully I'm glad I didn't go for one. I like the "mini" concept and am quite glad I went for the Pico. So much so, I grabbed a 2nd one - it should be here this weekend.

Re: single v. multi-battery mods - I'm tending toward single-battery mods. I have yet to hit over 50W on anything I'm running. So, I just can't get jazzed about getting more batteries, just to keep them married for a single device? (or maybe two devices?) Yeah, battery life could be better, for the power levels at which I run....

Presa 75 - yeah, I grabbed one from Mountain Oak when they were doing a big blow-out sale. Grabbed a couple of iStick 60s as well during the "frenzy". Truth be told - I'M DIGGIN' THE PRESA!!!!! Wasn't sure I was going to like the whole panel as the fire switch, but that thing has been in my hands more than any of my other mods recently.

I really like them, Puf! I like them better than those pregnant Presas, to be honest.

Are they brand new? Maybe the prices will come down eventually. They are exactly what I want--simple, elegant, well made, ergonomically designed.

Thanks for bringing them to our attention. Added to my (ever-growing) shopping list.

:censored: FDA!

oh-no, they've been out awhile, they are o-so-comfy (for lack of better description, they seem provarish)

Just one question. That curve--is it designed for vapers who use their index finger to push the fire button? I use my thumb and I wonder it the curve will make it uncomfortable for us thumb clickers.

Stop. Just stop!

Nope, guessin' not, DPL. Just you, me, and 10,017 of our closest friends, eh? ;)

I really do like that little teal striped hidden secret compartment guy. Looks like TWO new mods might be making their way to us...... ;)

WHAT, WoofeD? Behave? What's that mean?

yepper (thought you knew)

it is VapeForward teamed up with Wismec
they WERE on sale ($54) but looks like sold out

VF is in GA. / chip is from TexasInstruments/Wismec assembles it (sweet)

- Vape Forward
- Vaporflask Lite 75W TC Box Mod by Vape Forward & Wismec - RED

VapeForward is a joint venture between VaporFlask and Wismec. It's primarily VaporFlask's design, and Wismec's board. The original VaporFlask - until the DNA 40 from evolv - had a TI chip. ProVape also uses a TI chip...

@Katdarling, you asked for it. Tried to be organized but I think I failed.[emoji53]

Here are the mini itty bitties: istick mini (now a 20w), the mini volt 40W and the ksd vamo box 25w. Only the vamo box has an external battery.

Here are some "bigger" itty bitties with internal batteries. The istick 30w, the Coolfire IV (40w), and the Tesla Two (safety restrictions but not variable).

Here are (mostly) external battery, single 18650, itties. Kbox (40w), Heatvape Defender II (50w), kbox mini (50w), istick 50w (not external, told you I failed), olax hero (30w), Heatvape Defender mini (50w & TC for Ni).

Temp control mods (forgot the defender mini was TC, and the XVO stick--another fail). eVic-VTC mini (60w, now 75w w/firmware update), istick Pico (75w), and Smoant Knight V1 (60w).

Side by sides. XVO stick (DNA 40), Luxury Box (35w), Knight V1 (60w).

Non-variable, itty bitty tubes. Ego AIO & eGo One mini.

And because I forgot a couple (and yet, I forgot the defender mini here [emoji35]), evic mini, kbox, tosser stick, kbox mini, mini Jedi, hero, defender II, pico, knight v1, drop box, luxury box. All single 18650s.

Edit: Darn it!!! I just realized that the XVO (tosser stick), doesn't fit in this thread because of price!!! Grrr!!!

Ummmmmmmmmmm--azing! Your post is a keeper, pokes. WELL DONE.

And thank you. :)

OK, I have to set the record straight--with my sincere apologies to ProVape. There is absolutely nothing wrong with my ProVari mini 2.5. The problem was my extension cap that I bought from err... not ProVape. I assumed it was authentic.

I just installed a fresh 18350 battery and the original standard end cap, works like a charm.

I'll see myself out.

bah-bye. ;)

(glad THAT worked out!)

Pushing anything consistently to it's limits often results in premature failure.

So, I'm thinkin'....... shalst we PUSH the FDA????
