I have to raise my hand but in my defense, if the FDA wasn't so stupid and corrupt I wouldn't have needed to go on a shopping spree. That's my story and I'm stickin to it. :D

Seems to be a lot of that going around. Let's just say - by not sayin' - that HG wasn't the only place I visited over the weekend.

The thing is, there sure was a hell of a lot of patriotic fervor going around. And no - I don't think it was vendors pimping out Memorial Day to take advantage of us. We're "upset" and they are equally "upset" (Ok - words I can't say here.) both in their own right and for us as well. It was mutual, and I believe the feelings behind all this were genuine. We were celebrating the symbolism behind Memorial Day - juxtaposed with an FDA situation that somehow believes our freedom in this situation is a bad thing.

Sorry, didn't mean to go all political-ly on your ..... vape stuff Memorial Day sales were a very different experience this year.

Just FYI from the Avail website:

Looks like we're both SOL on the $39 Vaporflask Lite. (Yeah, I was STILL considering it notwithstanding the tiny screen)

I emailed Avail and this is the explanation I got in response:

"The reason we can’t ship to California is that they now require proof that the recipient is 21 years of age or older. At this time our website does not have the capability to verify over 21 (only over 18)."

@Jumpin' In... If you still want to order that Vaporflask Lite, send me a PM. :)

Now a question to all of you who do own a VF Lite: Is it really that much better than the Presa 75 I just bought? Or the CF4 18650? I'm asking because I now can get it for $39, after all. ;) Should I? Help!

@Katya I received 2 Merlin's today. I have one set up without the reducer for subohm/lung inhale. The build is 28ga kanthal & ribbon wire twisted, single coil. It came out to .97 ohms. A little higher than I wanted but I went with it. I'm using max VG with the juice control half open (all the way open flooded) and the airflow control all the way open. The flavor is as good as the Serpent. I haven't used it long enough to find the cons but so far I'm loving it.:thumb:

Now MTL...Sucks monkey balls. Even with the reducer it is WAY too airy. Even with the air control all the way closed. I couldn't even use it. Does anybody know how to reduce it by about half? I know people have done this with other atties but I don't remember how. Help...I need a MTL stealthy atty. :(

Speaking of...I just got an email from Lightning Vapes (don't remember buying anything from them) saying this:

Adult Signature to be required on e-liquid & coil head orders soon.
Within the next few weeks, we will be requiring adult signatures on any orders containing e-liquid, coil heads, the 521 Tab, and any other products we sell with nicotine, or which could be used out of the box to deliver nicotine. This does not include wire, batteries, basic tools, or wicking material. What an adult signature means is that a person 21 years or older with government issued photo ID present will be required to sign for the package upon delivery.

How does the 521 Tab deliver nic? I suppose this is better than requiring us to send a copy of our driver's license, which I would never do but it still sucks. And what is a government issued photo ID? Does a driver's license qualify? Needless to say I won't be spending my money there if I ever did but we'll probably be seeing more of this :censored:.

That's what I was afraid of. This tank is designed for big air. Reducing airflow (and/or reducing the diameter of the airport hole,) while possible, still works against the overall architecture of the atty. I have another atty like this that came with an insert/reducer: same thing. If you want an MTL, you need to get an MTL tank. Period.

:pop: I am interested too. Is it that good? Received my 2nd Pico today, a black one. I really don't NEED another mod (I have about 13 regulated, oh, plus the Vamos and Segelei V3s and a few other tubes) and 2 REOS and several mechs with kicks. But ya know.....

Did they say anything about shipping costs? If they decide to use UPS with signature required, that's 15 bucks right there.

Here's what they said about UPS:
Now using UPS Mail Innovations Expedited for free standard shipping on small packages
We've all been there, once in a while your USPS package takes a trip around the world when it shouldn't have, or it just plain goes missing. We've found a great solution in UPS Mail Innovations. From the time your order leaves our facility to the time it gets to your local post office, UPS will be handling the transit. That leaves USPS with the small job of getting it from your local post office, to your door. This means less mail lost, quicker transit times (UPS Mail innovations has improved speed greatly over the last 2 years.) and finally, happier recipeints.

My Hana Modz One showed up today. Really really surprised at how light and flimsy feeling it is. I mean, I knew it was plastic, but it feels like slightly stiffened saran wrap...

Quite a difference from the other mod I got in the mail today... an MCV Raptor. That is a BRICK!

I also got a SXK Nebula Wine RTA. it was a sight unseen trade. I knew from pics that the Wine comes with baby blue o-rings. I thought it would loo great on the Hana. Alas, it's a black tank lol... woe is me and all that...

simple qwik answer - NO

the guts are almost the same
sitting here thinking about it, I don't know what to say because I believe both to be great

the Presa 75 feels like a $50 piece
the VF Lite feels like a $114.99 device

if they were both on the shelf @ the same price - I'd buy one of each

:eek::unsure:o_O
sorry

I'll buy that.

Oh, I did buy that.

I don't have the Presa anymore, but I would get another. (I LOVE what I traded it out for!) I received the VF today, so too soon to make a thorough judgement, but it is solid, heavy, and feels very well constructed.

The Presa has a more readable display.
