For gawd knows how long, about every mod was a tube mod. It was hard to find a box mod. Now they are everywhere. What will be next? Oh, I forgot...there will be no next mod style.

I remember seeing boxes with tanks on them too when I first started vaping in 2011. They always looked very interesting to me but way too complicated as well, every time I looked in to them a bit deeper my head started hurting so I just stuck to the old Ego since it did work well enough for me to get me of the stinkies.

But recently I wanted to vape more and spend less so I dove in again and luckily things have become a bit simpler then first time around, or maybe I'm finally getting smarter, dunno.

Lately the RX-200 shape seems to grow in popularity.

I don't think we've seen the end of it though. Vaping has become too popular already, people won't just let some law-maker take it away from them.

But time will tell. I'm staying positive though.

I've had the CF4 18650 and the XVO for all of 5 minutes now, just a couple of observations:

1. Vapes my nautilus 1.8ohm at 11watts nicely.
2. Feels good in the hand, I feel good firing it with either the thumb or holding it the other way and using the index finger. Haven't developed a preference yet.
3. Will fit a 24mm atty without hanging over.
4. YMMV as to the 510. The nautilus and kayfun mini 3 fit flush, the avacado 24 has a gap. Time to get some spacers, I guess. I won't know if my "go to" atty's will fit flush until they arrive Saturday.
5. When I take my nautilus off, and put it back on, it asks if it is the same atomizer, or a new one. I'm assuming that's for safety.

As for the XVOstick:
1. Small, light vapes well.
2. Really need to get a DNA40 manual
3. Have to be careful to tighten the base of a tank, since you have to turn the tank from the top to unscrew it from the mod. I'm already picturing myself unscrewing a tank and ending up with the base left on the mod and eliquid everywhere.
4. Hideous BRASS buttons. :p

gandy, TIZ old skool. It's called the Little Sister. It was quite a nice device in its time. Variable voltage, and the ability to turn it off completely by turning the voltage dial all the way (to da left). No display, no wattage, no nuttin! Fill a carto, screw it on, and out the door ya go!

Definitely one of my fave Bic lighter styled mods!
I looked it up, Holy Cow 2010! I had never heard of vaping then.

It does look very advanced for that time.

Just get in the habit of taking the topper off with the mod upside down?

Bbbbut her topper is still visible!

I can't say - once I realized IF perhaps the Li-ion decided to 'vent', it is Directed right at your face
kinda put a funny taste in my mouth...

Batteries do vent from the top, I agree, but this is not the only mod that has the positive end of the battery directed toward the user's face (my ProVari 2.5 and Evic VTC mini are the same way). ProVari's vent hole is on the bottom cap, away from the positive top of the battery. If the battery swells and blocks access to the bottom vent hole, you have a pipe bomb, no matter what. That's why I don't use mechs.

The Kbox mini (congratulations, Kanger :thumb:) has the safest design of all the mods I own: the battery top is facing down, away from your face, and the magnetic door has nice big holes on the side (shaped like the letter K), so I imagine that if the battery should go thermal, it would first blow off the door away from the user. So, if you're concerned about safety, Kanger Kbox can't be beat.

the battery goes in positive side down so even though the vent holes are in the cap for the battery, which is on the top, the vent holes are still on the "bottom", too bad they did not put the battery cap on the bottom... but really it is a great mod over all and my son is enjoying the heck out of it. I had told him when I gave it to him everyone thought it was too heavy and he has said he doesn't understand why, he loves the size, design, shape and the feel of it in his hand, I like it enough too that I would buy another.

I want to pull the trigger on a Eleaf Pico, but my previous experience with iSticks has me a little concerned.

FWIW, I have never had one single problem with mine (I own iStick 20 and 30) I never bought the iStick 50, though, because it had problems. iStick 20 was really a prototype, but if you know that it doesn't step down at all (basically, fires a full 1v higher than the display indicates), it's quite usable. YMMV:)
