I've seen these, but I haven't read any reviews. I'm glad to know you like it. I like the way it looks. What is the finish on it? Is the finish durable? Is it comfy in the hand? It looks like it would be.
The finish is a solid acrylic resin... think about the way a cast bowling ball looks and feels and holds up. I do not recommend throwing the mod down an alley at pins, but it feels that tough. It's also quite comfy... the cutouts kinda feel like finger grip ridges. There are 2 minor concerns... the faceplate is polished aka fingerprint magnet, and the cutouts can collect some dirt and require a q-tip to clean out. Minor...

Wow! That sounds like it would be perfect for me. I am so happy you posted about this one. Which color do you have?

Just a small update to my problem of finding a small vaping unit I could carry in my pocket to replace my Innokin VV/VW3. I went with the Innokin Cool Fire Ace. I've been using it for about 4 days and this thing is perfect for me. It's light, so I don't mind it in my dress pants pocket all day long. It's small, and I mean it almost hides in my hand when holding it. Best of all, it's battery stays charged my entire work day. It doesn't even go to half full on battery meter after a 10 hour shift at work. The Slipstream tank that came with it took some getting used to, but I like that it's a top fill.
I can't say enough about how pleased I am with this unit. Perfect ergonomics, for me any way.
Thank you to all who offered their help and advice.

It's gorgeous! I am trying to decide between the blue and the red. Is the resin pearlized? It looks like it is.
A little bit... there is depth to it, but not the sparkly kind... the red is a touch garish imo... that red on black... I just couldn't... to much contrast... everything else, though, was gorgeous...

I think the blue is a safer bet, and I don't have a blue mod, so I think the blue it will be!

waiting on my SMY Mr. Q 18350 (mod only)
mr.q-6.jpg

i guess its not too new of a mod, but for its "info" it looks promising.

  • Variable wattage: 1-40W
  • Temperature control range: 200-600’F(90-300’C)
  • Double mode functions: TC mode for Ni200 wire, Ti wire and SS wire; VW mode for Kanthal wire
  • Output voltage: 0-9V
  • Resistance range: 0.1-3ohm
  • Houses single 18350 battery (battery not included)
  • SMY (tried to...)keep the device smallest while using removable battery
  • MR.Q box supports firmware upgrade via usb cable

and i see now was posted back on page 556/557... lol. my bad.

I have this mod that is being marketed by Milspec. The 18350 battery does not bother me — after all when I first started vaping that is all I used. I do volunteer work where small children are involved so I take this mod with me because of its steathiness. Also great for running around doing errands. End up buying a second one.

Over in the eGo ONE thread...there's a discussion going on about a Wismec Presa TC75W SALE...

[But I don't remember it being mentioned in this thread...]

The Presa 75 is my current favorite Mod...(superior "hand comfort")...

And $27.50 (with an 18650) is a GREAT price...

I have a 75w Pressa and love it. I don't use it every day but I do rotate through my vapopcalypse stash regularly. Not the sharpest looking mod, but doesn't matter. I like the feel in my hand and it works. I only use power mode on all my TC capable mods so can't attest to TC accuracy.
