It looks like we have a new worlds smallest 18650 box mod: Smok OSUB

Only 30.3 x 19.5 x 75mm and ticks all boxes including SS temp control

KOTUS I will gladly accept any position under your leadership. I respectfully ask that I be allowed to investigate FDA officials, Professors of tobacco Control  and many elected officials.

That'd make a heck of an avi for you, these days.

Reminds me of someone... ;)

With all this FDA Dooming Sheet...I've been researching "Best rta's For Those Who Have Never Built a Coil Before".

The two mentioned most often are the Bachelor Nano and the Serpent Mini.

As a lazy single-coil MTL tootle puffer...which one would be the best to try first???

..

I don't own those. I learned on Kayfuns. Subtank has a very user-friendly RBA deck (included). I hear that Merlin is easy, but haven't bought one yet--don't know if I will.' Still waiting for Kayfun 5 with a promised MTL solution.

The idea is to get a tank that you will like, not a tank that is easy to coil. Are you an MTL person? Start with a single coil Kayfun-like atty. Get a kuro coiler and watch a few videos. It ain't rocket science. If I can do it... :)

Biggest help I've found with those lil debbils is to leave the coil legs quite long so that as you're setting the coil, you can wrap the leg back around the mandrel to hold it in place while setting the screws. SOOOOOOOO much easier to set the coil.... :2c:

Now we're talkin'.

Kinda pricey right now though.

I'll wait til the early adopters have tested them out and the price comes down a bit.

Looks like a good replacement for my aging 20w iSticks.

From what I've seen on Youtube they are both good atties but one thing to consider if you use a small ga wire like 32ga then the Serpent Mini is not for you. The problem is getting the wire to connect at the posts. The thin gauge wire slips under the grub nut and doesn't make a good connection. You shouldn't have this problem with the Bachelor Nano. I can't speak to how well they are MTL.

I've heard nothing but good things about the Merlin by Roxy and Augvape. Mine should be here tomorrow. I too am a lazy MTL-er BTW.

It better be. I have 3 on they way. I've never order 3 of anything until I've tried it but this RTA sounds like the last RTA I'll need to buy. Fingers crossed. :D 2 of them will be here tomorrow. One will be for sub-ohm/lung inhale and the other for stealthy MTL. The 3rd with be for sub-ohm/lung inhale.

Lemo V1. It has both Kayfun style screws AND post holes.

Alternately, decide which tank you currently own and love and find an RBA section.

IDK...I have a tank that I like and has the best flavor I've tasted from any of my tanks but it is a beach to build so it may end up in my apocalypse stash for when I get desperate. :(

Within reason. I meant to say within reason. :D Kayfun-like, single-coil decks are reasonably easy.

That Serpent Mini looks like the easiest build I've ever seen but it works best with thicker wire. I have one on the way so we'll see. :D I wish it held more juice though. I'll probably be refilling every couple of hours until it goes into rotation.

I can't even pronounce that. Never tried it either. It's probably out of my price range.

The authentic is probably out of everyone's price range. I got two minis from FT--highly praised by many here. No go.

No go???

I don't buy mods or atties from FT anymore. Too many problems. I just buy things they can't screw up like grub screws, wire, holders etc.
