nerak : doing slow draws helps a lot, thanks!

mlinky : I was definitely squeezing the bottle way too much, just a very very light press is all that's needed.

I think I'm getting the hang of it, I can finally see it working. Really just takes a lot of practice actually. And I really need to make this work, going hiking for a full day on monday, dripping would be too cumbersome.

bander68 : you should try DIY, I don't mind going through plenty of liquid 'cause it's cheap! :)

Gurgling does not = flooded on a bottom feed mod.

Its natural because the juice is traveling the the air passage to get to the atty.

Its different than gurgling if you over dripped from the top side.

If you are not winding up with juice in the overflow well your not flooding it. With a 510 mine almost always gurgle on the first few hits. With a 306 not as much, but sometimes. But I don't blind squonk with my attys, just with cartos.

You do get used to it, I am sure most REO vets don't even realize how often they gurgle anymore :)
