I live in a small town in WV, there is a kiosk at the mall that sells volcano products and more recently started carrying ehpro clones and such. There is another small b and m in town and they have on multiple occasions ...... me off. They have lied to me multiple times about important things just to make a sell, I stopped going there but today stopped by to see what they had. Once again everything they said was either a lie or just ignorance. They are seriously putting the whole vaping community at risk.

First off I noticed a bunch of ....ty clones being sold for authentic prices , I didn't mention it at first because I already knew they did that. Then I overheard the guy saying he had a .03 setup in his igo w6. I informed him that if that was true his battery would melt down, he got super defensive and pulled the cap off. I saw a horribly coiled setup, what looked like 2 coils with like 15 wraps each, I asked him to put it in an ohm reader so I could show him that there was no way it was even .3, he refused. Than I asked to see there batteries, the lady showed me an efest 2000, not even a v2, the v2 is somewhere around 15amp, the v1 is 10amp I think, maybe even 5, so I asked her the amps to see what she said, she of course told me it was 35 amps, this was not a suprise because they had pulled this same .... the last time I went there. I got mad, told them that they were going to hurt someone and therefore hurt vapeing in general. We argued for awhile before they told me to leave. The people here don't know much about vaping, there customer base is made up mainly of backwoods type people, most of which don't even have computers and get there info from the people at that shop.

Does anyone know what I can do about this? I want to just inform them if they are just misinformed but I really just think they don't care, they all act like they are experts but in reality they are just making it up as they go. I see this as a huge problem and I'm sure this is happening in small town everywhere and its only a matter of time before this blows up, literally.

About the only thing you can do is take your business elsewhere. The internet is a great place to find great deals. If they are a shady as you say, it will only be a matter of time before the light is shed. Just keep yourself informed and try to help your friends understand to keep them from becoming another statistic. Good luck my friend!

First things first. There is nothing you can do about a B&M that sells clones at OEM prices. They can charge whatever they want. There are a ton of B&M's around here and some of them sell clones at reasonable prices and some don't. I just male sure I know the value of a device before I make a purchase. Second, there is nothing you can do about ignorance. If someone does not know how to make coils or measure the resistance, there is nothing you can do about it. Eventually there will be more competition for them with a knowledgeable staff and the ones you have now will either have to improve on their knowledge and pricing or be forced out of the market. Or they can continue to sell and hope that there are enough customers that will come and buy from them because they don't know any better. I would just stay away from them and only use a trusted dealer on the Internet. There are hundreds of good ones.

I already have a few devices that I am happy with. I have purchased them both on the Internet and at local B&M's. Now when I want a new device I order it from Angel Cigs because I don't mind using clones. But for e-liquids I go to my local B&M's. I have several B&M's that sell great e-liquids for a fair price and I don't have to wait for them to come in the mail. I just go and get it. Kind of like buying a pack of cigarettes from the local liquor store. I don't know what your B&M's sell for e-liquids, but if you like what they have then just buy the liquids from them.

I would love to start my own business, I order everthing online. Ive been making my own juice for a while too. I vape at around .2 most of the time so I can't be spending 20 bucks on space jam every couple days, the b and m sells there own juice but it is the worst juice I've ever tried, its similar to the stuff at go mart lol. I've been making juice for my friends and family, I just bought a gallon of pg from tractor supply and a gallon of vg online, so that will hopefully lead to something better.

i am lucky to live in the saint paul/minneapolis are here in minnesota. shops are springing up like wild fire. today i went to visit a B&M that opened about 4 months ago. the first time i went the owners girl friend opened late. she didn't know alot of anything about the product. the shop had some good brand name merchandise and there own juices.not a lot and some what disheveled. i had a chance to make a return visit today. wow! the place looked great. lots of name brand stuff. knowledgable person behind the counter. neat and professional appearance. the pricing was not at all out of line considering it was a B&M. roughly online cost plus 30-40 %. its nice to have competition at the local level. all the shops here seam to understand we are not rubes. as such they know they have to compete.
having said that there are still some very bad shops here. i think it is because they hire their vaping friends instead of employees.

Jus cause they are a vape shop it does not make them any different from other stores. Whatever kind of store it is you will find some that are run by people who know about and like what they sell, and some of them will be in it for nothing but the money.

My local B&M is great and I buy what I can there and will continue to support them. If I lived next to your store I would do all my business on the web and only stop by for the going out of business sale.

It's just upsetting because right now we need everyone who is using Mechs and rdas to be informed and safe, as soon as someone blows there hand up we are all going to pay the price. Big tobacco is dying for it, and honestly the way people do .... in this country today I would bet money that they will use the false flag tactic. Either a. Fake a child poisoning from nic. Or b. Fake an explosion in a public place and just use an actual pipe bomb and blame vaping. You can call me paranoid or a conspiracy theorist but big tobacco has paid the fda off for ever and if they start loosing enough money it'll happen. If they are horrible enough to market and sell cigarettes, especially with the horrible .... they mix in and treat the tobacco with, then they are not above a good ol fashion false flag vaping scare. They'll have middle America begging the fda to ban or regulate.

My local shop was started with $3000 and a month to month rental agreement back in March. He's since increased the square footage, as well as the merchandise. He's always running out of things due to demand. He's also hired two other sets of hands to help run the joint, as well as my son to handle the landscaping and sidewalk sweeping. He's always got customers in the place, and business is booming for him.

If he can do it, anyone can.
