Local B&M donating income from sampling to advocacy

I just stopped by my local B&M to buy some of my wife's favorite juice. I asked them what was going to change on the 8th and they mentioned having to charge for samples. They said that it would be $1 for all the samples you wanted and that the money that they earned from this would go to advocacy. I thought that this was such a great idea. It turns the negative of having to charge for samples into a positive. I hope more B&Ms do this, as it's an awesome idea.

Quite a few have said this is what they plan to do and I agree it's a great idea! I only hope they are openly informing their customers about why they are charging, where the money is going and why as so many B&Ms have left all of their customers in the dark about what is going on losing that opportunity to engage their help in this fight.

I know of one B&M in my town that is planning on doing this as well.
