Rebel Smoke in Fitchburg sells 510 cartos prefilled with their own flavors. They have about 30 flavors currently. I think their raspberry and creme de menthe are pretty good.

As of a week ago, they said they were considering selling liquid, but they hadn't started to do so yet.

Best regards from Lunenburg. Please let me know if you find anywhere else.

How much do they sell these for? Sounds good in a pinch and a way to try new flavors on the cheap??? Course, I have tons of 510's and juice already.... Do they sell kits, too? In case I ever get someone to make the switch I can tell them.. Thanks!

Snus,

Rebel Smoke sells their cartos for $2. Kind of pricey, but like you say, they are there in a pinch.

You can try all their flavors for free in the shop, which is certainly a good deal. Their website, rebelsmoker.com, lists their flavors.

They sell only one kit, a rebranded 501 kit for $35. Battery life was pretty anemic, but it is probably better than the junk they sell at gas stations and drug stores. Within a week I had upgraded to KR808 gear I bought at Safer Vapors in Webster, then to even better gear I bought online at Smokeless Image, but the Rebel Smoke kit was what got me off analogs, almost instantaneously and painlessly. I wasn't even thinking about quitting, just stumbled upon them while shopping at the Ace Hardware next door.

Wow, what a great story! I was kinda "forced" to quit, when the landlord said no more smoking in apt, just to save on fire insurance... Started with disposable at gas station and quickly found my way to Webster... Been buying online since. I do still have an analog once in a while when I'm out, but don't really miss them and I was probably rolling close to 2 pad!

Now, when you say cartos, do you mean the white plastic crap or a real boge that holds about 1 mil? The latter is a decent deal as the blanks are at least $1. If I have any money left after this b1g1f 30 mil from high desert, I think I may have to take a trip up there just to check it out! Lots of cool stores and cheap gas up there!

Rebel Smoke's cartos consist of a plain black wrapper (impossible to label) over an plain stainless shell. I'm too new to vaping to be able to tell what brand they might be. They appear to be standard 501 threaded cartos that should hold around 1 ml. In my opinion they may have been slightly underfilled compared to when I do it myself. Rebel Smoke, like plenty of others, says that a carto = a pack or more of analogs, but ECF is right that a 1 ml carto is really more like 5-8 cigarettes.

One of the dozen or so cartos I bought from them was DOA, but they later replaced it for free at 2 for 1.

I have pretty quickly moved on from cartos to the X2 clearomizers from Smokeless Image. They improve the taste of liquids vs. cartos, which seem to add a skunky, "old sock" taste to many flavors. Plus I loathe being surprised by the burnt taste when cartos run low. The SI clearos are just as easy to fill as cartos, requiring no syringes or tools.

REMINDER - VAPE MEET TODAY, Saturday, April 14th. Wood-n-Tap, 99 Sisson Ave, Hartford, CT. 1:00 pm to 7:00ish.

There will be vendors there selling liquid. Rumor has it that some hardware vendors might be making their first appearance at a New England meet. These meets are a great way to sample different flavors, check out some mods, and meet some great people! The May meet will be held in Seabrook, NH, and June will be in Northborough, MA. More details will be posted in this sub-forum, and also in the New England Vapers facebook group.

Cheers!!
