Is it just me and my lovely work computer, or does the site continually log others out as well? I honestly can't go more than a minute (sometimes less) without being logged out.
I get a lot of lag. With my 3g internet I can never be sure if the forum software is choking on the sheer number of us or if it's on my end.
I'll have to check it out when I get home and see if I have the same issues. It may just be my work computer. It's extremely annoying, however.
I think it has to do with the number of posts you have.....after 15 or so you should be able to see a 'remember' me or 'keep me logged on' or something like that...
The remember me link is there, but that never works on my work computer... So that may be the issue.
For you, the way I got it to come up for me was to leave a letter off so it would tell me I messed it up.....and then when the new screen came on to try it again, the remember me was there....of course then you would put in the correct info....lol
If the remember me box doesn't keep you logged in at all times you have to go into your browser settings and allow cookies for this site.

Lag won't cause you to need a fresh login, if you cant get your logins to stick:
- logout (if you are not already logged out)
- clear cache and cookies
- make sure you have allowed cookies for ECF (the procedure varies by browser)
- login again using the remember me function
Thanks. I'll give it a shot tomorrow at work, but I think it may also have to do with security settings on the computers there... I guess we'll see.
