Login question?

I am sure there is a simple answer to this question but I cannot seem to find it so I will put it out there. I have noticed that when I log in after a few short minutes of no activity I will have to login again every few minutes. This happens when I am writing a post or replying to a post if it takes me more than a few minutes to post. Is there a setting that can be adjusted for a longer timed out period or is this business as usual? It is kind of agrivating because I loose the post when I log back in. I have been copying the post so I can paste it back in after I log back in. If this is a dumb question, have a good laugh. I am known for complicating a glass of water lol.

Thanks. I tried that at one point and did not notice a change but I might have been moving around the forum enough to keep me logged in. It seems if I am idle for a few minute it automatically logs me out.

It's possible its your browser, a security measure by your computer. Its hard to say vaprhed. I don't personally experience that issue. Have you tried closing out all your open internet pages, then opening one ECF, logging in and clicking the "remember me"(I think that's it) button? Hopefully someone else who has had the problem can chime in.

Try loggin in and accidently make a small mistake in pw. Then another box will come up with the option to keep you logged in forever....but be sure to put in the correct pw this time...lol

I had the same issue, my kids had to fix it for me :/ lol!

I believe the problem is solved. I just checked the Remember Me box and it seems to be working. I thought that saved my login info for the next time I logged in as in other forums but it looks like that is not so. Anyway, Thank you for the help.

yes - now you are a full member and it remembers "keep me logged in"

I had the same problem too when I first joined.
