I'm sorry but there is only one true motor sport. Which is the Worlds Fastest Motor sport.
I work NASCAR, and the boat races and Air Races are the bomb. Also, the Red Bull Air Races don't even come close to the "National Air Races".
Its a blast flying a closed course going 400 MPH +, pulling 5-6 G's and 50 ft off the deck. You need to make it up to the National Air Races next year.
I'm in town for a few days then I'm off to San Diego to do the Miramar MCAS airshow. Air Show season is almost done for me (yeah), then I get to blow stuff up.

Lets do it next time around. When is it? I will bring my camera and long lens. I love shooting fast vehicles of all kinds. I will be shooting the California Hot Rod Reunion in a couple of weeks, then another Funny Car event at Firebird the weekend after, and then the Drag Boats in November. Then I have a break till January when the NHRA comes back to town for the Test N Tune at Firebird.

I have a few gigs at PIR and Vegas Speedway coming up and you are more then welcome to come along.
Balloon races are boring but the rest is fast paced and high speed.
Here is a shot of the Jet Race up in Reno. Figure speeds in excess of 400 MPH. I usually fly in a Hawker Sea Furry and T-6's warbirds, but I'm starting to fly L39's and T-2 jets as well. I can't believe I get paid to work this gig.
I wont set foot at LVMS. Cant stand the ..... that runs the place. Next time you go jet racing let me know. I will see if I can get away. I would love to pit my camera against jets.
