Lithium cells come new with a 3.6-3.7 volt charge, I assume that is for optimal shelf life. My smart charger for my RC batteries has a storage cycle for li-po's, it will either charge them up to, or discharge and settle them in to about 3.8 volt. I've wondered what is best myself, but whenever I store any kind of lithium cells, I trust the nominal voltage for storage mindset.

As I understand battery should be half-full and never stored in hot environment. Air-conditioned room is OK. Slightly better if stored in refrigerator (but not by much). If you decide to use frig, to not use device the day you take it out, let it to warm overnight (there could be some water inside because of condensation).

Cool, I just put them in the drawer when I'm done with them. I've only managed to run the MVP20W down until it quite once and now that I have tons of charging chords around I doubt either ever gets below half. I just charge them where ever I am until I leave and they may be fully charged once a month.

meleemark, nice cig line but that break even thing never quite happens, there will always be something you just have to buy when it gets close.
I keep telling myself after buying a new mod that I'll break even a little later........and then......oh.....that new mod looks pretty.
