I'm trying to stock up on nicotine will be putting it in the freezer. I'm curious to know if it lasts longer in PG or VG. Any help would be appreciated.
I order 100mg in PG in 1 liter size. I transfer that to amber glass bottles for the freezer. I put the first liter in 4 250 ml bottles. Additional liters are in 1 liter amber bottles. I never expect to be mixing high VG liquid so I don't see the PG as a problem.I'm trying to stock up on nicotine will be putting it in the freezer. I'm curious to know if it lasts longer in PG or VG. I mostly a high VG guy, I like to mix about 70% 30% mix sometimes higher. I only use 3mg and would be getting 100mg nicotine. I think either one would work as I wouldn't need much nicotine in my mix. I just wonder what the best route would be, in storing it long term.I order 100mg in PG in 1 liter size. I transfer that to amber glass bottles for the freezer. The points I am aware of, nobody is sure which one is more chemically stable when frozen, there may not be a difference. Some aruge that VG will get more viscous when cold so less circulation during storage so less exposure to oxygen. I draw my nic for mixing from a cold bottle. I'd rather have the less viscous material so it's easier to work with.I mostly a high VG guy, I like to mix about 70% 30% mix sometimes higher. I only use 3mg and would be getting 100mg nicotine. I need to get a freezer, what would you recommend, I plan to use it only for storing nic. I just bought my first 100mg nic in PG and plan on buying more as I can afford it. As far as the freezer goes I looking for something affordable, but enough space to store several years worth of nic?I am a long term nic storage person. I use 100% PG for freezer storage. I have a bottle of 50mg 100% PG nicotine that was purchased in December 2011 that I am just about finished using and it has retained its clear color, no odor, and when using my nicotine testing kit it hasn't lost strength at all. So I can vouch for 4.5 year old nic holding up a-ok!
I use glass bottles, usually vodka bottles lol. I don't worry about amber bottles because the freezer is dark. I usually purchase 100mg nic and cut it down to 50mg/ml with PG. Put it into glass bottles and stick it in the freezer. It is a garage freezer that never gets opened unless I am pulling a nic bottle out so it remains undisturbed. I have a crazy big supply of nic.
This is the one I bought:I need to get a freezer, what would you recommend, I plan to use it only for storing nic. I just bought my first 100mg nic in PG and plan on buying more as I can afford it. If you like clean, clear mostly tasteless nic, it's very good.As far as the nicotine I'm getting I found this "
Nude Armor v2.0 Nicotine Base – EXTENDED SHELF LIFE
Nude Armor v2.0 Nicotine Base - EXTENDED SHELF LIFE - Nude Nicotine
Does anybody have any opinions on this brand of nicotine, is it good or bad? I liked that it was advertised as Extended Shelf life. Any advice would be much appreciated.

So far I don't have enough bottles to warrant a separate freezer. I hope you'll report back when it's in service and tell us what temp it's keeping and how fast it frosts up. I would expect to only need to open a freezer dedicated to nic every few years to remove a 1 liter bottle but I'd need to check more often to see if it needs defrosting. This is the one I bought:
Amazon.com: EdgeStar 1.1 Cu. Ft. Medical Freezer with Lock - White: Appliances
I suppose I'll just buy another if this one goes out. With the way appliances are built nowadays, there no telling how long any will last.
I hope to get at least 10yrs on mine, but who knows![]()
